Got to the level with the two white beams in the bottom right - no idea how I am supposed to switch those and move at the same time...
Nice little puzzle game - made me think a little of Baba is you
Thanks for the feedback! The level you mentioned seems to be the most liked by other players.
Little secret tip from us: Look carefully to all the pages of the tutorial, you may discover samething unique in that level u.u.
Ok I see what you mean^^
Be sure to check out my game too
i laughed when the sign moved instead of the robot on the screen! took me a while to figure out the final level, very creative
Thank you very much! :D
I really like the concept and had a lot of fun playing the game. The pixel art looks very good and
the music was very well chosen. :D
This was a fantastic little game, nice use of the theme. It has that feel of What the Golf where you know exactly what is going to happen and it is exactly what does not happen. Great game lnegth as well, simple puzzles just to show off the mechanics. Well done.
Thank you very much for your feedback <3
I though this was a nice idea until the pause mechanic came in. That's when I though this was great! This game has a lot of potential for interesting puzzles. Just a bit sad that the most interesting mechanic ended up getting introduced in the last level, left me wanting more :D I also agree with some of the others that while limiting the player to one mechanic at a time is a cool concept, scrolling through the options can be a bit tedious. I still enjoyed working through puzzles a lot, so well done!
I was like "This game is clever", but then i arrived in the pause mechanic and that was mind blowing. One idea (but maybe is not the design approach that you want) is to make faster to change between mechanics. this will allow more reflex based puzzles.
Hot damn that was awesome. I was not expecting that at all. I really love what you did by having us play the tutorial box, and I think the way the mechanics and controls worked was just super fun. I dont really have a ton of feedback because honestly the rules you set out in game were consistent, and everything worked really well. Perhaps the game just needs more sound effects, like a sound effect for switching the text box instructions, and some sound for jumping. Really excellent entry. I had a ton of fun.
Hah! The moment the input box instead of the robot was great! From time to time the input for the box to change was a little clunky, but otherwise excited to see where this goes!
lmaoo my brain exploded a few times, especially with the last mechanic that's introduced xD
I had to really think through some of the puzzles, and the main mechanic is quite ingenious indeed. The variety makes it really interesting, particularly when you need to perform a certain sequence of actions in a window of time - it's really rewarding if you get it all error-free.
I'll second the comment below with the fact that controls may feel a bit unresponsive at times. E.g. if you're still sliding from the momentum, you can't swap to another tab like jumping, so it feels like you're kinda getting punished/limited for being dextrous with the keys.
Anyways, you guys managed to shake me to my very core with the first level... I got so confused at first and then I felt the biggest "tch... OHHHH, RIGHT!" moment ever! thanks for making this, and please do push it forward, I want to see more of this <3
Thank you so much! <3
The idea is very clever and an interesting concept. I did find the controls to be hard because they weren't as responsive. If I was moving but tried to switch to being able to jump, it would not let me, I have to do it one at a time which is counterintuitive and not a fun time for me. However, I still give you props for taking this in a much more different direction than most.
Thanks for your feedback! In reality the fact that the player is unable to switch while moving is a completely intended mechanic. Our fault is the fact that this mechanic is not reinforced by any feefback, leading players to think the game may be unresponsive. Anyway we are glad that you liked our project despite this issue!
This was a genius idea. Quite the biggest plot twist I’ve ever seen, seeing the UI move instead of the well placed and animated robot. 😂
EDIT: sorry for the gargantuan image, thought it was smaller
EDIT2: fixed
EDIT3: did not fix so I removed it 🤣
for those wondering, it was this image: https://i.pinimg.com/736x/bd/61/d2/bd61d2b044987182d3383f3029cc66c2.jpg
Thank you so much for the kind words! And for this picture/edit adventure 😂😂
Really cool game, I really enjoyed the small puzzles. I also love the pixel art, especially the dummy robot It's fantastic!
Thank you so much! Glad you like it!
Beautiful game!!
The only problem? Too short! I want more!
Thanks for this experience! :D
Really cool stuff. Amazing feeling when first play and you're tricked in the first level! I think the controls could be a little less awkward though, having to constantly scroll left or right is a bit grating, not sure if there's an elegant solution. Great puzzles and great art too.
Really cool game and very polished! Great job
Very creative set of mechanics!
You weren't kidding about our concepts being similar! I love the direction you guys went with it. Being able to pause on the last puzzle was especially satisfying, good job!
Wow, what a clever game! Love the concept, but dang it is hard to get the hang of the controls haha
-Enjoyment: Moving and jumping with the white box is fun!
-Creativity: Very creative puzzles!
-Presentation: The pixel art is really great!
-Neat game indeed!! Please check out my non-creative entry when you can :D
Really nice little puzzle game, the limitation of only using one type of input at a time makes it pretty challenging.
Good entry!
