The game is kind of buggy but the graphics are good and the music fits well.

Controls were kinda hard to get at first but once i got a handle of it, it was a great game. love the art and the music
The experience is pretty OK, but the game seems to be pretty buggy.
When I first loaded the game, it refuses to let me plant my slimes. In the next few tries, I was only be able to test the game for a little bit before the game crashed.
Not a great execution, but the idea is quite intertesting.
And the music is prety good though.
I actually love this so much! Inverse Plants vs Zombies is a nice idea, and your characters have a lot of charm to them. The heart is just so weirdly threatening, great vibes, great execution, great concept :)
This was an interesting and fun reverse plants vs zombies game! One addition that would help a lot is knowing more what each unit does, if one is more effective than the other against certain enemies. Sometimes I could blitz through quickly by spamming enough bouncy ball units on the field once I was in a later wave with enough resources to make a lot of them.
The original idea was to have a basic enemy, a slow tank, a speedy but weak version, and a healer. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to implement the healer code, so he became a supertank with extra health, and our stat numbers for the different units could definitely use some tweaking. Thanks for playing!
Really fun! The execution of this idea was very well put together, and the interface was really solid for it too. Only suggestion would be a tutorial of some kind. Was good fun!
It reminds me of fallout! One thing that I liked was how chaotic you can make it if you really want to. However, the graphics settings didn't seem to work for me, so the game was at a pretty low framerate.
Neat game! My only critique is that you should look into how to import 2d graphics without bilinear sampling (assuming that you are going for a pixel art style)
Yep, we had a weird issue with Unreal where it imported the textures with messed up settings, so even though everything used nearest neighbor sampling in the editor, it switched to bilinear sampling in the packaged build. I manually went back and changed the setting for each sprite in the last few minutes before the deadline, but unfortunately there wasn't enough time to package and reupload again. Thanks for playing!
Took a while to figure out the controls but Enjoyed the game, really great take on the theme
Really cool take on the theme, enjoyed being a quest giver for once :3
Cool game, although maybe a bit unbalanced since i managed to beat it with only the 10 cost slimes. Nevertheless, it was quite fun to play through and I liked the comedy sprinkled throughout in the text.
I struggled with the controls since I didn't even understand that you could rightclick to move the "enemies" after the round started for a while. And when I did, the game crashed when I ordered them to move to the heart. But good job finishing the game!
Yeah, we unfortunately ran out of time to add a tutorial level, but I added a "controls" section over on the game's page at https://aejjee.itch.io/samnslime if you want to give it another go. As for the crash when you manually move the slimes, we were able to identify and and fix the issue internally after the deadline, but we aren't allowed to upload the updated build until the voting process is over. :/
Thanks for playing!
Nice concept on tower defense. I definitely like the idea of composing units, its definitely an idea not explored too much outside of RTS. I like the representation.
Took me a while to figure out how to play, but I got there eventually. I'm not the biggest fan of TD, but I like the spin you went with, and the aesthetic is really cool :)
Nice Concept, good music also. For other players, use Right Click to place units.
Hey, I just played your game and realised that we actually have pretty similar ideas of reversing a tower defence game. I think your units look quite good and I like the idea behind them. I think the main problem I have is that after a certain point in the map I am unable to place any units, however, there isn't really much of a visual indicator to let me know where the point is.
Hey, thanks for the feedback! I'd like to check out your game but it looks like you only have a macOS build on there do you have a windows version?
Also yeah there are two known fatal bugs that cause what was happening for you. We've fixed those bugs but we can't upload the fixed versions of the game until the jam is over.
The art looks pretty cool and all but I cant find out how to play the game, could you add some more controls to your game page description or somethin o_o
Hi! We unfortunately ran out of time to add an in-game tutorial, but I just added some basic information about the controls to the game description page over at https://aejjee.itch.io/samnslime.
