Very polished art aesthetic! when there are multiple interactables nearby it could be useful to indicate which you are building more clearly? but it was enjoyable to scale and get higher and higher, frantic and fun!
Really cool game! I got stuck a couple of times but I really like how the building mechanic works.
Overall I do think this game can work good for mobile phones!!
Streamed today!!
Liked this! Good concept, good execution. Art and music was good.
I did feel this could have benefited from a bit more polish in the movement, sometimes I felt like I was getting "stuck" on various things.
The core build / demolish mechanic was solid, the controls could have been communicated in game a bit better, but once I figured it out, I could get it to do what I wanted. Nice job!
Lovely game. With great art! Perhaps you can be a bit forgiving/lenient with the jumps and give a bit extra jump height to the player. I found myself stuck in multiple areas due to poor planning and couldn't jump. Also I could only reach around 191m and so I didn't quite understand the motive of those collectibles? Also why do other collectibles disappear after one is picked up? Perhaps it's some choice/decision based on above levels? Do they allow you to jump more or build anything or run a lot? Will try it again sometime later to try and use those.
Nice game idea and a very pretty execution. If i was to suggest and improvement, that would be to add an option to drop own red platform by holding down and pressing jumps. Otherwise it's possible to lock yourself out in certain sections so you only option is to wait the game over screen
Fun concept, crazy polish for a 96 hour jam, felt a little unforgiving until I realized you can repair stuff in mid-air, which made things a lot easier.
Very nicely done, good take on the theme too! Loved the music :D
Wow! Incredible game! Really loved the infinite scroll! Must have been quite the thing to get that working the way you wanted. Had a good time playing!
Really love the level of polishing and the concet great job
Great game, well polished and pretty fun! No real critiques from me, this was great!
The game has a nice art style, with a clear UI indicator on the progress of action. The goal of the game is well communicated without requiring a word. However, it's kind of a shame that so much work was put into the page itself with lovely graphics on controls which don't actually show up in game. Having extra info on your game page is good, but the game should provide everything you need to know! <3
I would also recommend playing a small sound whenever you change the volume nob on SFX, it allows the player to have some feed back on how loud the SFX in game are going to be.
Hey man, thank you so much for the detailed feedback. I'm gonna write the SFX volume knob thing down, since it makes total sense for me as the one in charge of audio.
Cheers!
Interesting game. First thing that feels really weird on PC is seeing my screen being only a vertical slice, it almost feels like I'm playing on an emulator or something.
The only complaint is it seems the level just looped itself, and there was only content for like 3 minutes.
Cute artstyle, also fun idea i like it :D
Love the artstyle and vibes of this game!
A nice, fun infinite(?) climber! There are a lot of ways this could grow and be refined on top of the base game as well!
Wow what a fun idea! Also what an awesome chiptune :)
Love the art, very cute! The style almost reminds me of Spelunky. The sounds for constructing were a lil loud though :,D
Thank you for the kind words, and yes Spelunky was on our mood board when discovering what art style to make.
This was an interesting take on the jam theme that I can see being a ton of fun if multiplayer was a thing. Unfortunately, I don't think the music was always playing, and I wish the build timer was shorter, but the art looked great and things seemed well polished!
I do really see this game as a multiplayer game where each player can build and destroy paths and gadgets to make the others fall! Cute art! :P
