Nice art style! Congratulation on making such a big game for this jam! I enjoyed the gameplay aswell!

Developer

Thanks for playing :)

Very impressive, I didn't expect to see something of this scale in the jam. I wish the size laser had been a continuous hold rather than having to repeatedly press the button tho

Submitted

Pun not intended!

Really cute, and good design! The sound effects were a little grating after a while, could do with some variations (like changing the pitch slightly) but a good solid game, that! :3

Developer (1 edit)

The sound effects do change pitch, maybe they should be changing more

Oh, yeah I couldn't really hear it o:

Incredibly cute. The way tinker moves through out felt really cute. The colors are nice and vibrant and i liked the little screenshake whilst riding his shrink-mobile.

Great design and feel!  starting in the lab and then opening up into the larger world was nice!

Great game, but I clipped through the world a few times when I was carrying blocks and with no way to reset to the map I had to completely restart the game and all progress. Other than that it was fun and you can't go wrong with a collect-a-thon type game.

Thanks for rating :)

I like the concept of the shrink gun, but sadly it feels a bit underdeveloped since you can only use it on specific things. It was still a fun experience, though.

Developer

Thanks for rating! I would of made the gun work on more objects but time was a quite limited for me

The game reminds me of Banjo-Kazooie, which i really enjoyed. I would have loved if the shrink gun can literally shrink everything and not only boxes (e.g. mushrooms, crystals, trees, etc.), this was actually the first thing i was testing. Unfortunately, I placed a box out of bounce in the desert tower, which made it impossible for me to finish the game. Despite that i think you did a great job, keep up!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feeedback! Sorry to hear you werent able to finish the game, I think you could of brought a box from somewhere else in the map and continued though.

Reminds me of Mario 64 mixed with Mincraft (this is to complete feeling for a 96 hour jam lol)

Thanks for playing :) I like to have my games sort of finished, i could never let myself submit a half baked game!

I loved the voxel style, I enjoyed finding the bolts. Great work

I love the style of this game, it's nice and cohesive and fits for such a short time.  I also really like how pretty much everything has a sound effect, it adds great juice.
I had some difficulty in the two sections below.  The top picture these platforms are REALLY small and hard to land on.  I found when I did manage to land on one, I'd accidentally run off when trying to jump to the next.  I spent a good few minutes here.  There is the cube that you can resize right below it, but I didn't figure out how to use it if that's the intended solution.

Bigger platforms would be good, but if you added in some coyote time for the jump I think I could have gotten through much quicker.

The second picture looks like a path, but right in front of me was an invisible collision.

This is a great showing for the jam though, really impressed!

I love a good old-school 3D collectathon platformer! The shrink ray was great for the jam, but I would have loved if you could tell where it was aiming a little better. And some of the platforming, especially in the cactus area, was way too precise to work with the floaty jump. But overall great work!

I really liked this game. It reminded a lot of the old n64 platformers. It was also a good use of the jam's theme

Developer

Old N64 Platformers are the main inspiration :)

Its a cute open world that reminded me of Banjo and Kazooie.

I liked the cube aesthetic and the ray gun 3d puzzles is definitely thematic to both the jam and the world!

Nice!!

Also using Godot is based.

Nice level design, and jump pads are fun. Shrink ray needs more juice though!

Developer

Yes certainly, I didn't really want to try out particles because I haven't tried them before and time was quite tight!

Pretty dope gameplay, the car that shoots size changing lasers is a very creative take, Also its very polished!

Thanks!
