Wow, it's so cool and stylish, with amazing audio too! My best time is 82. I think the controls is a bit difficult, maybe it will be easier if can move the cursor with mouse, and mouse click to scale up or down.

Developer

Thank you!
Current record we know of is 139 seconds. ;)

very very cool audio and visual !! The events make it less repetitive, it's perfect with the curernt mechanics, it was cool to play !

the different changes to the controls and balls add a lot of variety ! maybe let the players burst the balls by not being as close as needs to be right now as it is very hard, especially with fast balls :)

Thank you for the feedback!
We wanted to polish it a bit more in regards to the hitbox, but the jam time was over. ^^'

I love the concept and the gameplay is super fun, the controller is supported and that's cool, it fits perfectly with the theme, the only fault I see is the fact that you really have to be in the center of the enemy to make it work. And a quick question like that, how did you make this thumbnail, it’s so good.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback!
There's actually a bit of grace zone with the hitbox, but we could have polished more with more time.
The art is from our amazing artist @XDinky!

I drew thumbnail with Krita, it's a free and open source photoshop-like software, great for drawing on a tablet :D

thank you for the info, I looked at the things you had already done on the internet, you really have talent!

Fun little game! It could use a little hint at the start of what to do exactly, as it took me a bit to realize how you actually destroy the enemies. But besides that it was a lot of fun, I enjoyed it. Good job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!
We tried our best to make the game start only after you destroy the two different enemies, as we wanted to try a non-verbal approach to learning the game. With more time we could have definitely polished it more!

This was a really fun game! I loved the random events that could occur, those added so much to the game! Great entry :D

neat take on the theme, sometimes was a bit too hard, but otherwise enjoyable.

Neat idea and, good-looking / sounding, but I found the difficulty curve, despite the simple mechanics, scaling way too hard with the introduction of the different modes. Maybe make shapes start out somewhat slower, and cycle through modes less fast at the beginning? By the time you get used to one, the next mode starts :^ Also the reverse keybindings mode makes me furious :(

Good work, it definitely is an interesting idea and take on the theme!

Developer

Thank you for the feeback! The Drunken Haze event is definitely a killer, ahahah!

Amazing in all three dimensions! mechanics and art so creative and the fact I can scroll to resize feels so good!

If better polished this can be expanded into a popcap work ( even better! Scrolling is definitly better than clicking! )

This is an inspiring journey. Thank you for making this!

Developer

Thank you a lot! Glad you liked it! :)

nicely done. very retro and loved the different types of modes!

Developer

Thanks! We wanted to add a bit of replayability and surprises!

Cool idea, and I like the variations that happen throughout! Nice job!

Very strong idea for a simple fun mechanic on the theme. The popping mechanic got finicky after being zooming out. Loved the drunk mode!

Developer

Thank you!

Wow! this looks straight out of the N64 ps1 era im in love with it! Gameplay its super original and  in a way feels like the rhythm game Osu! Well made everyone!

Developer(+1)

Awesome! One of the ideas wasto tune the movement of the enemies to the beat of the music, but we lacked the ability to do it correctly and it was desyncing too much, so we axed it

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Big fan of rhythm games here, but they're HARD to make during a jam so we maintained some of the vibes, but with a different core gameplay!

Submitted(+2)

Really, really love the creativity and everything about how the game looks and sounds, but I find that it's really, really finnicky to try and defeat the enemies. You have to be RIGHT on top of them to defeat them, which is hard to line up with WASD, and I don't have a compatible controller. Make the hitbox for defeating enemies bigger, and this is easily a Top 10 of the jam. (or maybe I just have a skill issue idk)

Developer

Thanks!

Developer (1 edit) (+2)

For sure some more tuning is in order, but thanks a lot for enjoying it nonetheless and for the feedback :D We'll make sure to update it after the review period :)

Really fun and clever! Some serious stuttering on the Web version when the effects changed, but it never disrupted anything to severely. A really efficient and fun use of the idea.

Developer

Thanks!

Really nice gameplay idea! Also a great take on the theme. Looks great, sounds cool and it's fun to play. Great job!

Very creative and addictive! The use of the scroll wheel was such a clever take on the gameplay. Got me hooked for some minutes! Great job.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! We're very proud of the mouse wheel input :D

Thank you!

I honestly couldnt get the hang of using the scroll wheel to zoom in and out, i think if it was "I" for in and "O" for out on the keyboard for the scale, it wouldve been much easier to play the game because its a top down game not first person game so there was no point using the mouse except for the scroll wheel. Didnt really enjoy playing but the style was nice.
