Liked it. Like others said tho, it could use more visual clues. Good job :))

Idea is very cool. I especially like that you managed to make it weather-dependant, so I don't just find colors that work and lock in, I have to adapt and change it over time as the lighting changes. It's very neat how a player needs to find both correct point on a sale and then correct color for this. The game lacks QoL, clarification and visual cues on what's going on, testing in browser (mouse behave weirdly), and of course you don't need entire photoshop palette in a game like this, I think. As far as I understood, blue clouds and green plant is enough to progress (I got like 8 peppers). It would be very cool to see colors of ground, sky, sun to make gameplay importance in a game like this. I'm very glad I got to play this game, thanks for making this!

Great idea, but I think it could be better to have more QoL(like marking the position of the item under the mouse on the chromatic bar), and more content and interaction.

Very good idea, but needs a bit more polish and clarity! Very cozy!

This is probably the most out of the box idea I have seen! Wow!

Submitted

Interesting idea. Needs more clarification about how to play, though.

Chroma scale is a cool interpretation of the theme! Games that just facilitate creativity are rare but refreshing. I do think experimenting with a different mode for color interpretation like okhsl would be interesting to experiment with. Great job!

It would be awesome if you could rate my game too! https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2024/rate/2903767

Very cool shader stuff!

Really cool idea, very finicky to get right. I think with more polish and good tutorialization this could be very compelling

kinda buggy i wasnt sure where i was clicking. the color picker thing it seemed like the buttons didnt work. i wasnt sure where the "bottom bar" was at the  beginning. the game also took a long time to load, it was just a black screen for a while when it first loaded up and would sometimes turn red when i clicked but i was unsure why

Definitely need more information about how to play this game as I was (and still am) lost at how to fully play the game, but the creativity is off the charts! I have never seen a game like this before, great work!

One of the most interesting takes of seen on the theme. could use a tutorial tho.

Really creative take on the concept using the chroma scale. Definitely could use some more work on the UI, but really creative concept. Good job!

certainly a very unique submission.  feel like it needs some kind of tutorial, because I couldn't really understand what I was supposed to do and ended  up just playing with the colours like a child with a colouring book.  the UI is very strange as others have pointed out.  still, it's definitely stands out as an unexpected interpretation of the theme.

Wow very cool concept! The UI is very broken and gameplay feedback is not clear but it has a lot of potential!

Not very much following the jam theme but I would lve to see an improved version of this

How do I play this, pls ~m~

From UX standpoint it's not clear what I (as a player) need to do to actually get plants to grow

The idea is so creative, color scale is a nice . I couldn’t make anything grow, but i had a fun time. image.png
