That was so fun, the twist is very cool ! you succeed to tell a story with very little, that impressive !

Great game! It was neat seeing the game zoom out more. I also loved the homage to Breakout/Arkanoid.

Very creative idea. : )
I do not know how the last boss is intended, but the strategy of "Just run in and die" slowly gets you to the end.

It is a very good game, played through it all, having to quietly get around the enemies at the end was a nice touch.
Great responsive controls, especially in this game, which was needed.  I like the assets used, very basic and simple. It took me sometime to figure out the controls, but that is the fun part as well, bouncing all over the place tryina get it right. Good game, I recommend, good luck!

I like the sudden changing of genres. First is a simple ball breaking game. Then it becomes a stealth game. Also good introduction to the enemies when you are safe.

this was literally so cool. when music turned a little mysterious i was like... oh shoot, is this gonna loredrop me and make me sad?? it was pretty enjoyable and i liked the controls ! story elements and more 'levels' would be awesome

Loved the dystopian feel. I'm not sure why the little sphere is being hunted but I'd love to find out!

Very nice!  For the time available, phenomenal.  I like the puzzle aspect + breakout + scaling.  Some kind of scoring or badges/achievements or something would be cool; or going another way, story elements. Really enjoyable.  Lots of opportunity for additional levels and behavior.  Well done.

I love it. Tho i'm disappointed there was no achievement or cutscene for not defeating a little guardian if first room. Still love it.

Ahaha, indeed. I added the dialogs at the last minute! I will consider expanding this

Holy moly, what a roller coaster. Every time you think you have a grasp on this game's mechanics, it throws a twist your way.

I'm curious how the controls were built, because it almost seems like you are controlling the gravity that the ball experiences, but the way it takes turns feels a little odd.

This has the makings of a really fun adventure game with its retro style and peak Flash game era humour. The sound effects might be mixed a little too loud, though.

To be continued? I sure hope it will be continued!

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Yes, the controls deserve some improvements. Basically, when you press any direction, the ball turns toward this angle seeking the shortest path between turning clockwise or counter-clockwise. So when you bounce on something, it does this weird "turn-around" which is hard to control!

Nice twist to a block-breaker game. The controls feels smooth and polished. Loved how the game goes from breaking blocks like the classical game, over to a (reach-the-goal-game, dunno the term but you know what I mean)

The only thing to be picky on is, I would like to see more variations of dangerous objcets? First thing I can think of from top of my head would be a tractor-beam.

This is the most smooth and polished game so far, so well done.

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Yes, polishing takes time ^^ I had a lot more content in my head, but everything takes forever to properly implement and playtest.

In the first version, there were spikes everywhere that you had to avoid. This feature went to trash because it was very frustrating

So this rules - super fun take on brickbreaker. I adored the camera pulling back, I adored the addition of new mechanics - all felt smooth and natural. And there is just so much you do to expand upon this. Awesome stuff :)

Very cool twist on the genre. Well done!

You made a game this scale in 4 days? This is so impressive

Developer

Awww, that's nice of you :)

I used an engine I'm very familiar with, so it went very fast.

A arcade game turned to adventure game!! I am sure you've already though of it but still, you can add other power too from the game like multiple balls to IDK act as a decoy for the enemy to attack while real(player) one escapes

Amazing work!

you can make this a good rage game if you want

and a sound is little bit irritating

Developer

Thanks.

I don't envision it as a rage game right now, but I'll keep this option in my head.

I can't believe you added a stealth section to a break out game XD Brilliant.

Developer

Eheh :) Thanks <3

That's a great idea! Simple but very well executed and very satisfying to play.
