I saw a mine, did realize it was a mine, tough it was a cool easter egg or something, jumped on it, Died!
This game brings back bad memories of playing Genshin. It is a cool idea and fun to play.
Some things where that there where no music. Playing the game with just the walking sound is aery. You can also sometimes glitch into the rocks, and you can completely break the game by pressing escape in full screen mode.
I like how you can see how high you can go and how high up you are. The idea of a leaderboard was pretty cool. The camera was a little weird at times and I climbed through the floor once, but the climbing mechanics felt pretty good.
Great Work on the climbing mechanics! I feel that the camera controls were a little weird I don't know if it was just me, it would'nt rotate to where I wanted. But overall cool game!
Would greatly appreciate it if you checked my game out :)
Well done creating a rage-inducing climber. The climbing animations were really smooth and the climbing felt pretty satisfying. Overall, great job!
Really cool procedural climbing mechanics and ragdoll when falling! There are a few bugs with passing through stuff. The mines are almost like a jumpscare. Nice concept and could be made into a full, more polished game.
The idea of a zen game about just getting as high as you can is cool, but this was a bit janky. I often go caught on geometry that looked very climbable, or the camera clipped through walls. Great idea, the execution neds a bit of work.
It started to feel empty then I met a mine. I stopped cause I basically passed through what seems to be a rock but was actually empty? Still think it’s a bit empty, the environnement should be less “random” and more designed, with more mine, falling rocks (I guess one kinda felt when I started the game, but didn’t ?) stuff like that. Lot of potential!
Got a bit repetitive, but I think it's a cool concept! I like the models used and the funky mechanics!
When the protagonist said “I am built to scale” I really felt that it was one of the most emotional story lines in a game. We found the next game of the year. Also I am 49th in the leaderboard.
I wasn't so sure about the idea at first, but once I gave it a go it turned out quite cozy! Good job. :)
Good work! It was satisfying trying to find my way up and see how high I could climb. The jumping was a bit unpredictable and it would be cool to see more of this game expanded upon, but it wa! :)
The climbing felt really satisfying! Great job tackling a physics-focussed game for a short jam. Well done!
The climbing can be a little finicky and I can occasionally clip inside of walls. Physics can always be tricky to mess with under such a constrained time limit, but you executed this really well! Great work!
The climbing was fun. I did try jumping to land that I thought was in bounds, but on landing the game was over?
Was it fall damage?
Ah, I think perhaps that was it, thanks for clarifying.
love the game some times the climbing mechanic bugs out but all in all quite enjoyable
A horror game in disguise! Very very funny, thank you for the game (:
Using Attack On Titan as a starting point is so fun dude ahah I think it's one my favourite game (i swear it's not biased lol)
Interesting turn on the Theme. Also, I like those round things, they make you the king of the reversed leaderboard. (BOOM!)
I get inside the rocks a lot :c also the camera clips in some strange angles, i like you can jump while you climb
Sometimes you can end up inside rocks, which by the way the rocks are set up inside one another makes it feel intentional? I don't know, it could be a nice addition to the mechanics if it was intentional, but sometimes it made me feel stuck, as I had to find a way to not get inside the rocks.
Overall feels like a fun mechanic, I could see it get more polished and turned into a nice game, good job!
PS: I got to 123 in the leaderboards, definitely tried to get better but that was as long as I could get!
