The game is good, i love the visuals and the idea is fun. The only issue is that the trash is a bit hard to move around... maybe add a magnet ability, i don't know... But i've only managed to put 4 trashes in th ladle in the time limit... Or maybe i'm just bad... But i liked the game a lot :) Great job !
4 is pretty good! Great job! Most people get around 2-3
Oh ok so i'm good
Soupa! Liked the squash and stretch and to look of the game.
Took me a while to find the ladle, but the gameplay of dashing into trash was quite fun - the starting area felt a little useless as the mechanics were all in the soup - maybe an easy piece of trash and hit it into the ladle would have been better.
some of the items were stuck in the food, mildly annoying - i really liked the spaghetti joints they were a fun addition.
Nice job overall 👍
I love the game + the idea . It's unique and has a fun touch to it .
Best of luck !
Love this style of this
The game is charming! Has nice animations.
The platformer controls feel unneeded, as the main gameplay takes place while swimming. I was ignorant as to where the ladle was and only discovered it when one minute was remaining. but regardless, it was fun to play even if i may have only scored 1, haha
Fun idea, hope Mario gets help so he doesn't keep getting lost in the sauce
Was a bit confused on what to do exactly. Still had fun swimming around, the control of the main character is pretty smooth
For some reason my laptop don't like Unity games (they get laggy very quickly), but outside of that it was actually fun with the cinematic part and the story 🤌
I fell in and couldnt get out to see the tutorial xD. Overall fun game!
Was pretty tough to win, but I had fun swimming around in the trash! Love the pun in the title by the way. The tutorial was a bit confusing, but once I was playing I understood it.
Nice game ! I was confused at first by the tutorial, I didn't understand why I couldn't push the first piece of trash shown as an example. Also it is pretty hard, do you know if anyone managed to beat it yet ?
It is a very funny idea and i had a lot of fun with it. is a bit hard, but sure if im just bad at pushing stuff xD. the pixle are is very nice. very solid, GJ! :)
Constantly got a 0/10 rating even though I pushed a bunch of the ingredients into the ladle, and a bunch of the trash bits spawned stuck inside walls, so I couldn't clean those up. The dash locking your movement seems fine, but with how limited it is vertically and how long the cooldown for movement is, it mostly isn't worth using. Also, ingredients flew out into the sky when they weren't inside the liquid. Despite the criticism, I like the concept of diving into a soup to clean it and the pixel art is pretty charming. By the way, some sound in the main menu would've been nice since I thought my headset wasn't connected. 3/5
Yeah, that bug slipped out, you have to actually restart the game to reset your score. I added it before, but it probably got lost while exchanging files with my teammate. Thanks for playing!(ps. if you would like to, play again! there are more endings)
got 3 out of 10
mario aint too happy about it
lol
I generally found the game to be rather charming and funny. I got a 4/10 rating where the client said that they're not mad, just disappointed. Imagine a food critique acting like the cook's mom when reviewing their signature soup. I also bumped into a few glitches when re-spawning, where the black screen would linger, go away, then come back and linger then go away. I also saw one of the bits of garbage generate inside the level geometry.
However, all that being said, I enjoyed the movement, the atmosphere and the fact the game has a set amount of time that it takes to complete. It lets me get a feel for the game, put my thoughts together and try it out a couple of times before deciding to stop.
It was a nice concept. There were some problems with the execution, the dash upwords out of the soup was really high but dashing down words in soup was pretty much not there, The dash sometimes locked you out from changing directions for long periods of time, and the spawning of items sometimes clashed badly with the ladle making it impossible to deliver trash, it didn't help that it lacked a reset button. The animation was clean but I would have loved some sound effects or at least music in the main menu, I was checking my headphones if they were even pluged in... And the time could have been extended with the game lacking a minimap or anything it kinda felt almost impossible for someone learning the game for the first time. And as much as this sound very critical I still think it was fun.
I added the dash very late, didnt really have time to fix all the limits &stuff. Thanks for playing!
Great game, I did however notice that vertical dashes didn't affect your velocity as much as horizontal dashes, so that did slow me down. Nonetheless, fun gameplay!
Yeah, we decided to add the dash very late, so i didn't have the time to cap the velocity correctly. I will play your game as well!
