How does your game fit the theme?
It's a snake... that scales. Get it?

A pretty simple idea taken to wonderfully ludicrous extremes, love it! Only thing I didn't like was the controls, even when I got a handle on them I'd sometimes forget in the heat of the moment, maybe some UI could help as an option?
This game has it all. A ginormous snake with a gun? No problem. Cosmical whales? There you go. Giant spiders with a cannon on their backs? You won't believe, them here either :D. Very good entry, gave me a lot of fun. Congrats!
I love the concept and the artwork is fantastic! Really nice looking game. The controls are very tough since it's an isometric view with orthogonal controls and I feel like it moves very quickly and it's easy to mess up or hurt yourself. The bugs don't move on the same grid as the snake so it's tough to align yourself with them. But the core of this game is really solid and the design and visuals look great!
this game is kinda mixed for me, i like the idea, there is some good art here and the game works well for the most part
mostly i feel like the idea could have been executed better
the isometric view makes movement really annoying, because there is no up for the up botton and it seems to switch directions if it is pressed twice
also, losing health to yourself is very harsh, it is instant and can take away most of your health, that with the kind of annoying controls it turned out frustrating
i do like the idea of the guns on the snake, there is potential here for a cool moving base type game, but i think some of the focus here went to making the snake scale up into different environments. but game fits the theme without it so it feels like bit a of wasted potential
Really cool game, always a fan of Snake! I can't really think of any critiques besides I wish there were more stages to the game, and the isometric perspective is pretty confusing to move in at first, though I did get some of my bearings by the final stage
I love this a lot, but the controls send me on a keyboard-fueled rage. My heart breaks.
This was a lot of fun, I managed to beat all the bosses :) At first the WASD controls in isometric space confused me a little but I got the hang of it. Especially loved the transitions between stages, super cool!
I always recognize a hydralisk when I see one!
Thanks for this crazy and funny project - the scaling is done very epically
By the way, I also made an isometric snake for a game jam back in a day - you can look at my profile for the game "Frutti Snake", if you are interested)))
The only thing that upset me about your game is the strange ending, the crab seemed to die in space, but the game did not end
Geat entry!
This game has a crack in it, I played for two hours straight once I got the hang of it. The only critique I can offer is that it would have been nice if the player's record was being kept as they advanced through the levels. I would have been incentivized to play even longer if there had been recognition for how good I was doing. Besides that, it is a great game, with smooth animation, and a nice UI design. Great job!
Straight up fun! Great job to all the artists who contributed as it definitely showed all the effort in game. Sound design is one of the only things not credited but it was pretty good, just got very chaotic when things started shooting. Only gameplay part I'd critique is that it's not obvious when you can just ram into the boss to eat them.
Edit: The ending of this game is quite something lol. A little bit broken but still chaotic fun.
I love the idea you were going for, and the game is good fun. The thumbnail is an absolute treat, though I'm wondering if there might not be a bit too many game mechanics going on all at the same time. At times I was confused if I should focus on getting weapons, or if I should just try to get bigger.
Would absolutely love to see this become further developed though, nice work to the team!
