How does your game fit the theme?
We took the concepts of "Built" and "Scale" so that the player is shrunk down to see the world of a child's bedroom from a scale that exists only in imagination. You are tasked to build a tower as tall as you can while defending against the threats conjured up by the imagination of a child.

So I have... complicated emotions about this game. Lets just start by saying, the art direction is very good, the graphical polish and the presentation are there and doing a great job.
However, when it comes to the actual gameplay, a lot is left to be desired. Enemies spawn at random and there is too much to cover to really make a plan, towers have very little feedback in terms of telling what they're actually doing (and lowering graphic settings seem to remove some important effects altogether), it is impossible (I think) to avoid damage outright and RNG is mostly taking the wheel, and there isn't any explanation for what the individual towers do (I couldn't figure out what the blue shooty piece did because of the afore-mentioned graphics settings bug).
I think the game quite fits the theme, but it's hard to judge with how little of the gameplay I got to constructively interract with. However I don't think any of this is impossible to fix and it could easily turn into quite an enjoyable game with the right amount of polishing, the assets and the presention is all there after all and those in charge of such did a fantastic job of their own. I don't know whether this is a victim of over-ambition or if something broke unexpectedly before launch, but I truly wish this game the best as the premise is quite there.
Thank you very much for your thorough explanation of what could make this game better! We agree that this game has a lot potential with the right amount of polish :D
Thank you for playing :)
The game is very polished and built with such great creativity.
The intentions and goals are clear.
Be sure to check mine :)
Thank you very much for playing :D
Nice game!
Thank you for playing :D!!!
I really like how polished it is for a jam game. Looks already like a full game. Only downside, it's hard to grasp what to do. Some tooltips and a tutorial would've been a great addition...but as we all know Jams have limited time and no one can fit everything in^^
Thank you very much for playing! Even though we got double the amount of time, it was still very short :D
Increidible art, loved all the packaging. I just didn't like not being able to go back down, and placing the weapons was a bit difficult to understand fast which way it was looking. The game page is amazing, really top notch, the best I've seen.
Wow thank you so much for your feedback :D
The designers really did a great job!
You can pan the camera with the middle mouse button :D
D:
Extremely well polished experience.
Great art.
Thank you :D
very creative idea! the art, music, UI and animations are trully extraordinary!
my only complaint is that it is really hard to understand the right position to place a "tower" and there is no ingame explanation of what they do, so i was not sure if the towers were damaging enemies. my suggestion would be to make towers that cover a huge area instead of a limited sector and make projectiles easier to see.
Thank you for your kind and good feedback :D
The game is really well done artistically, adding an HTML5 version to play it on the web would increase the overall playability.
Cool game and well done.
Yes that is true! We really considered that, but sadly Unreal Engine doesn't support that kind of thing anymore built in. Thank you for playing :D
The amount of polish on the art and UI is incredible. Really dig the concept too, though I kinda sucked at it haha. (Pro tip: you can pan the camera up/down by middle clicking and dragging up/down)
Thank you for playing and pointing that out :D
really good concept!¨nice work
Thank you very much for playing :>
Wow, the graphics are amazing! The gameplay is fun, though a bit frustrating at times, but overall, it's enjoyable.
Thank you for your feedback :D
Happy to hear that!
What a beautiful game, so much attention to detail! Very cool, I only wish it was available on web so I could play it on my phone D:
Thank you very much for your praise and playing the game! Sadly, Unreal Engine 5 doesn't support HTML5 yet.
The assets on this looked amazing! Really polished and loved the goofy items you could buy. My favorite was the punching hand with spikes. Nice work!
Thank you for playing the game! Yes I really laughed when hearing the goofy "boing" sound from the spring of the punching hand (:
The modelers and sound & music designer did an amazing job!
Very polished but I think I missed something with the strategy of the game. But I loved the creativity of making a vertical tower defense.
Thank you for your feedback and playing the game! :D
Wow, the art and polish of this game are amazing! Great work
Thank you very much! I am happy to hear you like it :D
Super polished for 4 days, and the setting is super creative
Thank you for playing our little game :D
so pretty
The 3D modellers who made the models from scratch will be very happy to read this :D thank you for playing!
I didnt believe what i saw. Its a steam level of quality put in this game. Gj
Haha thank you so much! We might consider that when the game wins the jam xD
Wow that was very polished
Thank you for playing :D
It might be cool if we can go up and down instead of zooming with the scroll wheel.
Despite that the game is super polish and I like the style !
Good job !
Thank you for your kind feedback :D
You can pan the camera with the middle mouse button! We forgot to add that in the controls :')
Bro this game is super clean.
I am happy to hear you liked it :)
