How does your game fit the theme?
Pretty much everything you do is revolved around scaling. you upgrade your towers which scale in stats and most importantly size, you expand your buildable area and your main base size by upgrades too.

Enjoyed playing this gem - looks and sounds good! Balancing could be better, but it is a jam, after all!

I really the artwork, it is really clean, I like the colors, and the animation is fun. The music and sound fits really well and I love that you move the unit around though it was not clear to me at first (maybe add a how to play on the itch io page). Once I understood that you can combine your units to make them bigger and stronger, there was nothing that could stop me! Really ! :D But please, please, make it more obvious maybe with a tutorial level that force you to level up your unit by combining them for dumb people like me :D

Great game! Superb music and sound cohesion with the art and overall style, well balanced dynamics and good composition all round. I felt like at first the balance was super unforgiving, finding my win/lose state dependent on which enemy types spawned before I hit the next 20 currency, but after that, it became incredibly easy, and I didn't really have to try very hard for the turrets to just completely goombaslap everything, and I ended up just kind of playing a waiting game for the money to add up, since I wasn't having to think. The sound, visuals and music were good enough to keep me playing till the end though, so great job there!

Fun game, the music sounds like it's taken straight from an 8-bit Mega Man game.

The Drag-and-drop could use some tweaking, in my browser it had a really hard time registering, and I almost completed my first full run not realizing I could even move towers because nothing happened when I clicked on them (turns out the game is a lot harder when you can only go up to level 2 towers, and your first ones get deleted)

Overall very enjoyable though, played through it fully a couple of times once I got the hang of it

Hard to start with but really fun to get a decent setup - difficultly stops ramping up after a time and you can just camp bases with level 3 towers but it was really fun.

First run I lost as the base upgrade deleted my tower :D

Art is fantastic and the music was great. 

Fun gameplay that could be expanded easily with more things!

Really fun tower defence, and the towers really differ in such a way you have to think about where to place the one that hits multiple and the one that hits harder.
Best tactic is to move then when necessary which is pretty nice

The music and art in this is so good, loved the pixel style and catchy bgm's. The logo sfx is super cute & nostalgic also. 

Fun Game with a slight difficulty curve at the start but once I figured out where to move my towers too I was set. I really enjoyed this and could see it being more replayable by adding more towers / enemies in the future.

thanks! And yes, we'll be balancing and finetuning the difficulty over playtime still, as it's much more difficult in the beginning then it is in the end. if you have any cool ideas for some additional content, let us know! we're collecting all the feedback to take into consideration ^^

Fun game with awesome art! I didn't realize at first that I can move the towers after placing them and thought it was impossible.

I think the difficulty curve is a little odd - it feels very hard at the beginning trying to survive the first few waves with just one tower and having to move it around all the time. Then it gets somewhat easier when you can just leave the towers standing and not bother moving them, and then it gets hard again once the monsters overwhelm.

you're right, we sadly didn't have enough time to balance it perfectly in the end. we'll be improving that and expanding after the jam has ended though! so if you have any ideas for the balancing that we should consider, please let us know!

Big F.. there's an indicator of which towers are too close to the base when hovering over the upgrade button, seems like u missed that one and clicked too fast lol

The game looks good, but I got bored quickly (Somehow just placing towers and upgrading them was enough to survive)

yea, we're working on that after the voting period has ended! currently the early game is much more stressfull than the lategame, which should probably be the other way around ^^

very nice art! but i do not know how to get more currency to build. two towers was my limit.

The extra areas on the left and right bring a lot of passive DNA income with each tile! Getting the first ones early massively increases your DNA count!

Art  is AMAZING! I couldn't get past only putting down 1 tower tho. It couldn't kill things fast enough to get enough currency to build a 2nd before dying. Idk if I'm stupid, or the early balancing is off.

Heya! To survive early you gotta move your tower constantly, so it is in range! As soon as you see enemies coming, move the tower there so it can start defending early!
