Tetris built to fit the human scale! A 3D Tetris, where the player can move inside.

Interesting idea, having to play Tetris while also avoiding the falling blocks. The controls were a bit tricky though - have the W/S keys control the player while A/D move the blocks led to me getting my wires crossed a bit. I’d suggest using WASD for the player and the arrow keys for the blocks (the game probably doesn’t need to be first-person since it’s on a 2D plane).
Still a very novel concept; I’d definitely recommend trying to see how much you can improve on this idea because I think with more polish it could be really good fun!
Definitely a mind bender, difficult to think about both tetris and my positioning simultaneously (in a good way). A neat concept. I'd like to see it lean towards differentiating itself from tetris a bit more, with goals that aren't the normal tetris ones and really make the 3D aspect important.
Great entry, well done.
I like the retro artstyle, but I find the game to slow, maybe add the hard drop of the falling tetromino ;)
Very cool concept! I liked trying to figure out how to place my pieces to not get my guy trapped and crushed, but because the player has such a high jump and a double jump, I never felt at risk of getting stuck. I like the crunchy art style though, and It's cool visually as the piece is coming down.
Not a bad game for the tetris formula, trying to play the game while trying to survive against the game! Good job!
Very cool concept! At first it took me a little time to understand the gameplay, but then it was great fun :) Congrats on making this in so little time, nice job! :)
Pretty cool Tetris variant! It fits this game jams theme very well. I think that adding some basic sound/music would enhance player experience. But it's pretty good for 2 day game. Good job!
Tetris with an extra twist of actually being on the board and therefore trying not to squish yourself. Though I did get squashed by my first piece placed before figuring out the concept.
It would be nice to either know where the player is on the 2d screen or have a shadow on the 3D screen to help judge if you are in danger.
Overall not a bad prototype/concept, but could do with something extra in relation to the 3d platforming side of things so its not just a regular game of Tetris. Maybe objects/coins you can grab for points that require you to deliberately build up to and reach certain heights.
But for only a 2 day submission, congrats on getting this far.
The idea is interesting ! The game is a bit too difficult for me, it's like patting your head and rubbing your belly at the same time ^^' I wonder if it could be fun without controlling the falling pieces and just focusing on the character trying to go higher and higher 🤔
Well done and congratulations for your entry ! ^^
Interesting idea, but it needs some technical improvements. With those, it would be even more enjoyable!

game looks very interesting, unfortunately both download files crash on my computer and I can't play it. I am very sorry!
Cool concept! took me a bit of time to understand the control, but in the end I enjoyed the game! it was a good idea, well executed, congratulation for making this :D
a cool idea, with an interesting mechanic. it doesnt seem like theres much to do outside of just walking around, and the gameplay is a little slow. i feel that faster pieces and a simpler player movement system would benefit the game. a creative idea, though!
