How does your game fit the theme?
The core mechanic of "ReScale" revolves around the robot's ability to grow and shrink. This aligns perfectly with the theme of "Built to Scale," as players must complete each level by building new platforms and manipulating the robot's scale. Other interpretations of the theme include a robot that was literally built to scale, designed for precise size manipulation, or the climbing sense of "scaling," where some levels require the player to climb steep surfaces using their past bodies as footholds.

A nice take on the theme! I particularly liked the mechanic of leaving behind previous selves to solve the puzzles. The level design was great, too. Nice submission!

Loved the game idea. It could grow with many more mechanics!

Really neat, creative game, this is the video game equivalent of the lion ladder in the every pokemon vs one billion lions argument. I really liked it, and I think with some extra mechanics on top of using your past lives as platforms (and maybe a life counter so it's not super busted LOL) this could easily be a fully fleshed out puzzle game. Props to you!

This is a really fun, polished little game. I've seen a number of platformer games that involve growing or shrinking your character, but i think this is one of the best implemented versions of it from a control perspective. It is really satisfying how quickly you go from positively tiny to massive and back again. I love how the sounds pitch up or down to match. The physics is well done, while it is super easy to glitch yourself out by spamming a bunch of clones that's kinda on me lol. I think my only complaint is that most puzzles have very similar solutions. Maybe to make some levels more challenging you could limit the number of respawns the player has or something? I also struggled a bit on the first level, just not guessing that respawning would leave your old body behind, while restarting the level doesn't. But this is super cool!

Very cool concept with great potential, nicely done! This needs more levels, more puzzles to solve! Great work! :)

(Very tired when writing this, excuse the brevity)

I really liked how smooth it all felt. I wanna give extra props to the itch page. I really like it.

Very cute and well defined game with fitting sounds! I love that the pitch of the jump changes with size, that's a really clever detail!

I wish that there was a limit to the number of clones you can make, since the game isn't really that challenging otherwise. I found myself just bruteforcing my way through the game, which I don't really find that much fun. I see some commenters saying the opposite, so my suggestion would be to give each level a set number of clones the player can make, but don't enforce it, just make it optional, catering to the completionists out there without hurting the experience of the more casual players.

Cool game though, and a great effort for a solo project! Thumbs up!

That was my experience; I think an optional golf style "par" goal would be super neat!

This idea is really creative and a unique interpretation of the theme! The one suggestion I have is that the levels should escalate in difficulty and variety more quickly, since the first few levels with a pit of spikes to cross felt very similar. Great work, overall!

Such a creative concept! Congratulations on achieving so many fun levels with such a simple concept.

I like the concept of combining scaling with your own after-images! Platformer controls were really good, and puzzle design towards the end really made me think!

that is a really cool game and concept! really nice use of the theme ! nicely done

Really awesome game! The levels are fun to play. It slightly bugged me that you can't stand on the characters arms as they seem so platform-shaped. Great work!

It’s an interesting idea. Loved to see more levels with more variety.

Great concept. Really enjoyed it, and also enjoyed that their was no limit on the amount of clones.

I think the scaling should have been a little slower, it was hard to zero in on the exact size I was after.  Physics were a little too slippy and I really feel like I should have been able to use a clones arm as a platform. also I got stuck on the spike pit level because in attempting to jump over a big clone I instead tipped it over and it blocked the exit.

A cap for how much clones can be created is much needed lol, it turns all the level into no brainers. Don't get me wrong this game was still cool and fun to play, creating a sea of corpses is fun (FBI this isn't what you think) you still did a good job.

Keep up the good work !

Interesting little respawn-styled puzzle platformer, What I like is a bit more of a challenge like having a limited number of clones/lives, or a ranking system based on how many clones you used to get to the endgoal.

Cool concept with a lot of speedrunning potential ( fastest clear, less number of body ) Really fun gimmick to be able to grow and reset at any point ! Must be a nightmare to design more of engaging level good luck !

Great Game had a lot of fun !
