wasn’t able to get it to work even on firefox
It was a bit tough since you don't necessarily know what exactly you are doing wrong at certain points but outside of that the game is really interesting. I think the step counter is a really great idea!
Really awesome game! Super polished with art and sfx and a comprehensive tutorial that really brought a lot of different mechanics in in a manageable way. With some quality of life improvements to the controls this could be a full game!
Nice take on the theme! Took me a while to get into the flow, but I enjoyed my time with it!
As a geography student who loves cartography, I can't wait to try this out 😁Also, love how perfectly this fits the theme. You have to make your map to scale to succeed. Just great.
Loved this concept, and had a lot of fun playing it. The early tutorials could use a little improvement to clarify the mechanics, but once I got the hang of it I found it very addictive. It'd be great if there was a creative way to give more hints about how the current route has failed, as sometimes I felt I was just adjusting my map with guesswork, but I appreciate it may be hard to balance that while maintaining the challenge. Overall really cool, and surprising depth!
Really unique and interesting idea! It took a while to get a hang of the mechanics because the adventurer kept hitting the wall but once I figured it out the game was really enjoyable! Also I really enjoyed the music that played in the levels too :)
Cool idea and great implementation! Step counter really helps to make maps more accurate, so levels became easier when it was introduced :D The map painting process is also kinda fun. I really liked the way map looks, so terrain and water have different shading applied. Good job!
I really like the idea, I wish it would show the map during the navigation stage because I couldn’t figure out why my character kept running into the wall which I was pretty sure I had marked as a wall. Other than that the game felt very polished.
great game, i like the painting <3
Conceptual and mechanically really impressive. It's a real challenge to map things out correctly and I like that, but I think the learning curve is to steep at the moment.
very interesting concept, I enjoyed it. I'll return to this if you plan to update it after the jam ends
the idea of a map designer like this is really cool. i'd love to see where you could end up taking this. great work!
Cool idea, would like to see an expanded form of the mechanic
Couldn't really play. After the tutorial first level, I opened the compass and it just made me spin a bunch. Tried moving around, just kept spinning. Seems like a cool idea tho!
