Really fun and clever, first game I’ve played that interprets the theme this way, well done!
Thank you!
Wow such an original concept, it's super polished. Great job!
Thank you! I must say I played your game... its amazing!!!
Really creative game! love the music aspect of it really satisfying!
A little bit confusing to get into, but I've certainly never played a game quite like this! It was fun wrapping my head around having to make multiple platforms at the same time.
Good game. It's a very creative play twist on the theme, but it took a moment to figure out what to do. I would have described the game as a music based platformer to help people better understand the game play.
Loved so much the concept, as a musician, this is awesome. Good game!
I really like the concept. It took me a little bit to figure out exactly how the game worked, but once I did, I really enjoyed it. Great job!
I've seen a few other games in the jam where you build a level from music notes, but playing the notes in real time was a unique twist. It was a bit difficult to play multiple notes simultaneously, and the line moving immediately gave me little time to move my hands into position, but when I did manage to place the notes right it felt good. Overall, an interesting idea, with a good execution.
The biggest disappointment is that it ended. Put together a tutorial and a few dozen levels and it would easily be worth $5-$10 on steam. When I beat the first level and saw 1/4 notes filled in, I thought it was a ranking system so I was trying to get a better score by using fewer notes or holding keys down for the least time possible. Only to realize it meant it was level 1 of 4 completed. Might be harder but a ranking system based on the total amount of time notes were held or total number of notes placed would be great for replay value.
Ha ha, glad you enjoyed it so much! It was a little unclear about the notes at the end, we are planning on adding a sort of story which will explain more and hopefully clear any confusion.
I liked very much the game, its really fun to play and so creative, good work!
Glad you enjoyed it!
really unique concept! the extra detail of the note block actually playing when the player touches it is amazing and i would love to see a fleshed out story which incorporates saving the different notes and why they're locked up. the ui looks incredibly polished and makes it look like a game which could be released right now.
Great idea! We were trying to add dialogue and a story, but we ran out of time. So glad you enjoyed it!!
Fantastic! I'm really curious to see how many permutations the basic concept has. Could you have a version that requires pushable blocks? Re-recording new paths after partial objectives (with other variants still, such as "dead-zones" produced by the first path?) Notes-as-conduits for something? A very interesting design space you have here!
Those are great ideas! We are so glad you enjoyed it!
Great Game !!!!
At first, where is the scaling aspect..?? Until... Oh yea.... It's music !!!!
The puzzle for the level 1-3 is quite easy, but we need more than ten attempts to beat the last level 💀
Amazing idea! I loved the execution. It feels reeeally difficult, but in a good challenging way
Very interesting concept and style, good job.
Enjoyed it a lot and must say really clever concept enjoyed, well done.
This was an awesome game! And i love the reactive audio. Sadly it was a bit hard for me; i've never played any instrument in my life, but i still enjoyed it very much! Trying to solve a puzzle while it sounds good as well. Awesome! (It would mean a lot if you would rate my game if you have the time)
Can do!
Super creative! Honestly would be surprised if this isn't at least mentioned in the vid
This game is very fun to play and all the art is really polished, especially the UI.
THAT WAS SO FUN!!! Literally one hour ago I got this exact idea for a game, but you nailed it! I have no idea how you managed to make it sound so good with the paths I created. And I loved the low sound of the red blocks! Amazing job
