How does your game fit the theme?
The main movement for the cube you control is being scaled by you. Making it bigger or smaller to move it and make it fit in differently shaped holes.

A lot of the presentation helps elevate the experience. I'm not sure I'd have nearly as much enjoyment if I didn't get the heart beating and bopping soundtrack.
Nice job!
I like the idea! Controls could use some more work. I think this could be a pretty good and fun game, if you are going to keep working on it. Good Job! :)
Nice concept! Could use some work to make the controls more intuitive, but overall cool entry!
It's a nice concept but I feel like it's needlessly complicated at places. I wish I was able to scale the object in the orthographic view and so that that the orthographic view was be better aligned so I can see if the shapes are in fact matching.
I loved the audio work. Gives a game a nice dramatic tone.
Fun little game, love the slow-mo at the end!
I really liked the tutorial inside of the level itself, I learnt to play really quickly. While the gameplay and the camera positions could use some work, I loved the slow down at the end to give it more tension, it's very gameshow-y. Good work!
Cool concept, but perspectives could use some work
I didn't really find the perspectives all too useful. The Orthogonal view also isn't exactly what you want it to be, since it doesn't line up perfectly behind the shape (as the shape still seems to drift upwards over time). I also scaled my cube down so much one time that I completely lost sight of it and was unable to interact with it anymore. It's a neat idea though, I like the concept, it just needs some more polish I think. Still, nicely done!
Fun like tv show :D
I feel like the perspectives could be made more useful somehow, as currently only the orthogonal view seems to matter, and the game could definitely use a music volume slider. Great job for a solo game though!
I think perspectives could be better, though I did fail one round due to dog... It would be usefull to know how to move the shapes as well.
It was featured on my livestream today!!
With a little more work, this would be a fantastic game. This gameshow game fits the theme perfectly! I just wish that the box wouldn't change position as well as size: that makes it too hard to line up, so I didn't get very far. This is a very neat premise though, and the different camera angles and slow motion are great touches. Clever entry!
The scaling and splitting mechanic is really cool. Could not for the life of me figure out how to get the square into hols that weren't in line with the initial square position, so I got stuck pretty quick. There was some issue with perspective being tricky to anticipate.
The concept here is super creative, and there is a ton of potential. Cutting the cubes was a direction that I would not have thought of and I really liked that. I think that the biggest area of needed improvement would be the camera. It was really hard to tell depth and accurately control it, and although this did add difficulty it was more just frustrating. I really enjoyed my time with your game, great work!
This one was really creative, would love to see a more polished and faster version of this!
There's plenty of potential here, great idea!
The splitting mechanic was a really cool extra twist, which really expanded upon the base idea of the game, allowing the player to make much more interesting and diverse shapes so well done :D
I think the main thing that it struggles with is that the player sometimes can't really make sense of the depth until it's too late, so I made a little sketch of a potential solution:
Not entirely sure how this could translate into the game when you have a bunch of different split parts, but I think the main thing would be to highlight on the wall where the cube is currently lined up and draw sharper "Guide" lines along the side edges. if you didnt want to do the guide lines, you might even be able to get away with just having a second, identical, player mesh attached to the wall where you're going to collide, which might be an easier method.
I also think something that would take the game to the absolute NEXT LEVEL, would be to sort of extrude one side at a time, rather than scaling the whole object, which would keep the cube in place as you changed its scale. making it more predictable.
Anyway, I think you should keep running with this idea cause you can clearly get a lot of milage out of it, very clever! really good work :)
Very neat concept, and great tie-in to the theme! Managing camera perspective was a bit challenging, it was nice to have so many options but sometimes part of the cube I needed to manipulate was off-screen which was difficult to work around. I really liked how intense the game would get, trying to get all the pieces to line up before crashing into the wall. Great job!
I didn't understand at first because I sped up and skip the most important part of the game.. But it's nice! Just need more polish.
This was so fun
I love how much depth of gameplay you got out of a simple concept! The dramatic music and heartbeat slowdown when going through are also really nice touches. Very fun! Could see this being made even more dramatic with fake stands full of cheering/jeering spectators haha
Thanks! I didn't even think of fake spectators lol, good idea!
