i think it could be a good game to be further polished! A curious thought, what if i wait for the time to end and dun play a card, will i still die?
No, Alice-Sama won’t let you die if you just play another card! (I didn’t implement this condition due to time constraints.)

I feel like I agree with the other commenters, there is a little too much randomness and little depth in the mechanic, simply putting them in the order of "week", "day", etc. with the highest card in the highest slot.
But the atmosphere definitely made up for it! Cool game!

Really like the style, talking and theme, the game is a bit too random , needs a bit of skill rather than just putting the highest card on the highest time slot and wishing for luck

probably some way to give the player some knowledge , i.e. a facial expression means a certain card, or specific tells could be interesting
Really interesting and creative take on the theme. Awesome work.
Its amazing how much you can achieve with just playing cards and dialogue. The character progression and narrative technique is superb. Have to say this is my favorite game of the whole jam so far and love the way scale is portrayed here.

In all seriousness, I couldn't stop playing. Great gameplay, cute demon girl, and interesting lore dialogue to break things up. This could easily be a commercial game imo.

I think the weaker part of a lot of these sorts of Inscryption-likes is the writing, but I found yours to be pretty engaging and I wasn't just skipping past dialogue lol. The actual card game I found to be pretty fun even once I found a strategy I liked. Maybe having more varied twists on the card game introducing new elements would be cool, but already it's pretty impressive how complete of a package you've been able to make during the jam. Great work!

I kind off think that it is difficult to expand that particular game. However indicating the worth of the cards would probably be helpful for new players to get what they are actually aiming for (e.g. is an Ace a one or higher in value). But if it is about actual mechanics, then either buffs for certain cards would be an idea or a mechanic that allows you to cheat (therefore to observe what cards the opponent has on their hand or to see what cards will be dealt next).

This was a lot of fun. Like, I am impressed. The artsyle is fun the stare of alice is just perfect, the gameplay is addecting. The dialog was ingaging
The game is so fun. I would play it again. To make this game even better, it would be cool to have a challenge mode or a high score mode to see how far you can go without getting the extra lives or with the text.
