Great game! Had similar game idea a while back, good to see it realized! Art and music are very pretty.
Really wanted a pause in body/mind designer though :)

Developer

Definitely adding a pause after the jam haha, most requested feature by far!

Really great game! The concept is super cool, it kind of makes me think about Spore with management game mechanics.  Very classy opening and ending sequence as well.

Maybe the stats are a bit too complicated, or could be re-ordered to make easier to understand. Don't worry, that's just me nitpicking a bit. Overall, very good game!!!

Thank you!

Game title style super amazingg! also nice game!

Lovely game, that final quota took me a while to reach, my dudes weren't grabbing all the biomass on screen. Enjoyed it a lot, the art style is beautiful aswell, the alien designs were perfection!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Super interesting!

indeed!

very cool, I love the art style! The Neuromother reminds me of a giant frog, and frogs are cool :)

Thank you for your kind words :)

The entrance and the beginning pinned my curiosity and wanted me to play, later on it got tiny bit boring but it's not a huge problem. Overall I think the whole idea & execution got very well done and I really enjoyed the game :)

Developer

Thank you for playing and good job getting to the end! I didn't want to make it too challenging, it's supposed to be quite a chill experience once you get going. But we kept it short too so people could have the full experience during the jam. Glad you enjoyed and thank you for playing

this was a cool game! it only lacked a way to see the stats of the current critters we have, because i had trouble differencing the different skins, and i ended up deleting some critters that were very useful to me. but i still managed to make mother health go back to the stars hehe!

Developer(+1)

Thank you :) That could be interesting, to colour them somehow or let the player pick colours. Not sure but we definitely didn't have time for that haha

Played and rated! I really enjoyed it! The concept of being the Zerg Overmind is an interesting one; the art was whimsical and cute, the music fit well, and it's great with the jam's theme!

My only complaints would be more QOL, features, and content, but I think all of those things are just a result of our short time. If you expanded it a bit, this could be a decent commercial game!

Developer(+1)

Wow, thanks for so much consideration. We really appreciate it and we worked very hard to make something fun and unique.

I wish I'd had more time to add more content too :D 96 hours is not enough!

Very cool game! Soo pretty. I really like the idea and i think it has immense potential. Though I feel like i added stats a bit randomly and most of my choice/thought went into the behaviours .

Developer

Yeah, I really wanted to add more to the behaviours primarily, but we ran out of time. Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing our game!

well, I got to the end. After a few minutes the game mostly just plays itself, the enemies don't pose a lot of threat. Cool creature creation concept.

Thanks for playing :)

"This will do."  Great take on the theme and interesting critter system. I found it hard to avoid losing some health in the beginning, but later on nothing was a threat to Mother and her swarm. Very nice entry!

Thank you!

I loved aesthetics, especially Mother's animations. Managed to finish it but I don't think I really understood it on a deep level. I wish the information about the characteristics of your critters was more readily available

Thank you!

Was a cosy game, I enjoyed making the different critters, just wish there were some kind of distinction between them. Very nice game :)

Thank you for your feedback and thank you for taking your time to play our game!

What a cool art style, it's really funky! The construction of critters is a really cool mechanic, too. Well done!

Whoah your music is a vibe! I would definitely listen to that while just working or something. Your game is also super creative, I love the idea and your art. The sound effects are a nice touch. Your mechanics have depth and are interesting to explore!
