VERDICTπ
What a beautiful game for 96 hours. Loved the art style, loved the intro cutscene. So glad I didnβt miss it. The gameplay itself felt very smooth and polished. I even really like how they implemented the theme. The idea of a doctor shrinking down and repairing patient limbs from the inside with a shrink ray is super creative and fits really well. The sound effects and audio were on point and never distracting. That all being said, the game is not fun.
The game was very difficult to control. Controlling the hammer while catching all the orbs, especially as they speed up later in the game was rough. Missing orbs didnβt feel like a skill issue, but rather luck of the draw like when the game would spawn an orb opposite the side of the screen. None of this was aided by the UI design, which seemed to purposely make the game harder. The red orbs are extremely difficult to make out from the red background, and the Progress UI monitor, pretty as it was, obstructed my vision and felt cheap when an orb would appear behind it. It felt like someone who had never played the game designed the UI.
Overall, a gorgeous game, with some key flaws in the main gameplay loop. I think there is a lot of potential if they can be addressed.
Not very intuitive, difficult to control the hammer thing to get it to dig a chunk of that is the intended use. Cool art though!
With the hammer you click to build, not sure how you got digging hahaha but so tru its too hard right off the bat I think and a tutorial would def help
So so awesome and so so fun, really cool concept, incredible art and really really fun gameplay. I'd say maybe make movement feel less floaty.
This is really good but haaaaaard. The cutscene was cool. My only suggestion would be to maybe make the blood cells stand out a little more against the background.
I like how the challenge slowly increases as you progress further it feels like the right difficulty

The intro art is so nice! Fun idea and I liked having to balance the collection and building. I was a bit confused whether it was missing the blood that caused blood loss or if it happened over time (or both)

Very nice looking game! I was very impressed by the intro art especially. Was fun to play too. I think the bleed out meter is a bit fast, especially at the start and clicking to build felt a bit strange given you have to stand next to where you build or at least felt that way. If you're clicking it feels like you should be able to build from wherever you are. That may be a bit subjective feedback though haha. All in all though great work!
Haha the bleed out meter is pretty fast, we were gonna have it be pretty slow and then have enemy infections etc. AND be able to spawn cells to auto build/fight for you a bit. Also you can technically build from wherever you are you just need to catch blood in order to build but its not very obvious lolol

Quite an interesting interpretation of the theme. I like how you have to balance both building the limb and collecting the blood cells. Keeps you engaged all the time. I liked it.
