Great idle game! Love the concept :) But why no Mac download :(

Thanks for coming by the stream and sharing your game! Fun stuff, only managed a 250 though. Might have to come back for more! :D

I honestly thought it would be harder when I saw the premise.

But it turns out, it is surprisingly manageable. And as such, the challenge feels quite enjoyable for me.

I think it is a pretty solid entry.

Hmm, I think the hitbox of the player could be just a bit smaller. Otherwise, it's fun to try for highscores.

Developer

It was half the player's size in development but it made the game too easy, you could basically just go directly to the dice and not be hit.

That was really a diecey situation! Simple but pretty fun game. Makes you want to play again and again!

Damn I really liked the little squish and rotate on the square! Nice work. It reminds me of a lot of the Cuphead bosses.

Its a nice game. Initially I thought we just had to dodge the things but later I realized that we have to touch something. One thing, a way to control the speed of how fast we move will be great!

Pretty enjoyable game, absolutely loved how squishy the character is, music is also pretty great and really helps to sell the game, I think the character should be a tad more faster, and dying in one hit feels kinda unfair,  but maybe I'm just bad lol, overall great experience

I love the aesthetic, simple but well-polished. I like the squashy movement you have in there that somewhat can use to your advantage while playing the game. Clever, good job!

Nice juicy little game! Not too strong on the theme, but I like the risk-reward of having to get _closer_ to the thing that's spewing out bullets, and nice job implying what you're supposed to do just from the title screen :)

Thanks for the words!

Awesome bullet hell. Not too hard, patterns are cool and readable.
Very nice work!

A fun simple bullet hell experience, I particularly liked the squash and stretch of the main character in direction of movement, gives a nice extra layer of strategy when dodging the attacks. Felt like hitting the dice was a little bit lacking, a bit more ooomph there would go a long way I think, but, the safe zone and movement speed buff of the red zones is a great touch, a nice reward for dodging and getting right up next to danger. All in all nice work!

Developer

Thank you! The squash and stretch does not change the player's hitbox.

Try as I might I could not get past 350 for score. Really fun simple bullet hell style. Love the slight panning and the change in speed when close. Would have appreciated like a slow down or pause after killing each die but it was cool how the bullets from the previous round stayed as an obstacle in the next. Good job.

This is an excellently executed bullet-hell. High score of 450, and I am satisfied with that!

The movement compared to the world-space is perfectly balanced between frustrating and powerful (you feel like you have enough movement to survive, but it's a struggle).

I love the burst of speed and immortality caused by the red bubble at the end, very satisfying.

Thank you for your review!

Thank you for the kind words!

I love me a good bullet hell, this is a gem! Artstyle is simple but goes a long way. I think the overall speed of the game could be adjusted or maybe even tied into the other mechanics. Very well done!

Developer

Thanks! I'll be updating the game after the jam ends, so expect new content! multiplayer mode maybe? wink wink

It's a short, simple, and extremely polished experience. Really creative take on the theme.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

I like the color scheme a lot and the attack patterns. Neat idea, and could easily be expanded on! Good work!

Developer

Thanks! The color pallete I used was the Pico-8 pallete. I'll be updating the game after the jam ends.

Fun game! Nice, clean art and good gameplay. I agree with others that the movement's a little bit too slow, though I really like how you speed up when getting close to the die. Nice work!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! That's the most common complain so far lol.

Really liked the aesthetic on this one. The art was super clean especially the animation on the dice.  I suck at bullet hells and they aren't my typical genre but this one got me pretty engaged.  Also I always love the opportunity to get to play with a gamepad on a game jam game.  Hope it keeps becoming more and more common.  Nice job!

Developer

Thank you for playing!
