It's a pretty neat concept, well executed. A cool addition could be a 3D dice on the side that you can rotate for those of us who don't know exactly all the faces of a die. I would also edit the description on the game page, it doesn't explain that the number of moves you have is the number on the top face of the dice, and dum dums like me might not get it by playing (I got it only when I came to rate the game and read the description on this page.)

I liked it!

Thank you. And thanks for your remark about description - It's easy to forget that other people havn't been playing our game for previous two days, and don't know rules of game in and out, haha.

haha, I know how it feels!

The (few) controls were very responsive and the atmosphere was very satisfying! The little preview was a nice touch, well done. The puzzle itself were fun, but after the first few stages I must admit that instead of trying to puzzle it out, I was just brute forcing the levels haha. Good game, I enjoyed it!

Cool puzzle game, thats very relaxing

A very satisfying yet challenging little puzzle game! The music and little wood sound effects made it very relaxing to play, and the muted colours and blue sky added to the chill feel. The preview of what side the dice will be on after a move is a huge plus, makes something that would otherwise be frustrating and maybe too complex into a simple little puzzler. I could 100% see this as a successful mobile game if you made it playable on that platform!

Developer

Thank you! I intentionally picked music and art to make it relaxing, so I'm glad It didnt go by unnoticed.

Cool little cozy puzzle game :) Gave me some nice relaxing vibes after this hard weekend of crushing!

The concept is so clever! I also love the high-res graphics, it’s a very unique look for a game jam game. I had a lot of fun, but it took me a while to figure out how the game works (maybe you should add a note in the description) (:

This game can be quite hard, but I do have to admit that this is one great puzzle game concept you have here, and it is pretty well executed!

A pretty interesting entry, I enjoyed playing it, good job!

Haven't seen something like that yet. Makes for very unique puzzles.

Wow, perfectly fits the theme and plays wonderfully. The whole package (gameplay, sounds, graphics) fits together very well and i enjoyed it all the way to the end. Thanks for adding so many levels. Good job

Very cool puzzle game!

Wow, awesome game ! Maybe add the rules directly in the game, because at first I didn't read the description and was a bit confused about the silver tiles.
Great game, could be a full release !

Developer

Thanks. Tutorial or rules inside game would definitely help, but when you have so little time Its easy to forget about these things!

A bit boring. Would be nice if there were tiles that prevent the rotation of the dice.

This game is really awesome, I was a bit confused at first but then I figured out how to play and it was really fun. Some feedback would be that you could of added some sort of tutorial, but I understand if that would take to much time.

I've seen a lot of games like this one so far, rolling dice to get to the desired location - This is the best one so far! Showing where the dice will be and on what face is crucial in my opinion, yet a lot of games miss it. You didn't. Good job!

Ways you could improve this game in my opinion is to spend a bit more time on the assets and sprites. Instead of having a floating green box in the sky, you could come up with a setting, then design your sprites around that :)

Great job overall!

Thanks for feedback. I still think we could do a better job with showing where the dice would go next, but at least Its playable. But as for art, man I wish we could have better art, but 2 programmers and 0 artists Isn' gonna cut it, haha.

🎲 Very nice gameplay and level transitions! I got hard stuck on the third level and I would love to see a mode of this game where 1 button press equals 1 unit forward and you have to aim to be a certain face up at the end of the maze 🤍

Enjoyed this a lot! I could see this being very addicting as a mobile game haha

Submitted(+1)

Very well presented game, in the future it might be nice to be able to peek at the adjacent faces of the dice to better plan future moves?

Developer(+1)

Thanks. I agree that showing adjacent faces would definitely helps as for now Its quite difficult to plan ahead.

Gameplay is extremely addicting! I loved the original concept and the calming environment I was rolling through. Nice submission!

The art and music are really good. The puzzle mechanic is interesting but, while I managed to finish it, I thought it was pretty hard to plan the moves ahead of time and was actually mostly guessing with a general rational direction. Maybe it could be easier if we could see the sides adjacent to the top one.

Developer(+1)

Thanks. We kinda realised planning ahead was a problem but now I think we could have give it more thought.

I really enjoyed the calm music which really added to the atmosphere.

I did not really get the rules tho I guess ;-).
