Nice idea, but could really benefit from having the aoe of the dice-roll be shown graphically somehow (at least when attacking enemies). Took me a while to understand why nothing happened after rolling the dices, since i was also running away from the enemies :P
Thank you. I agree, quite a few other comments have been along this line and it would make the game notably more obvious.
Really like the concept of throwing dice to kill them, do damage, heal, or duplicate enemy. But I think as the game go on it start to be repetitive. Maybe you can use coin to upgrade your dice, or buy more faces of the dice. the sfx, and art is really cute i love it. Also the enemy is also repetitive.
Thank you. I absolutely agree. I originally had some ideas for dice building and shops but unfortunately cut them due to time constraints. If I return to this game I'd definitely add them.
It feels weird that you can't damage the enemies by hitting them with the dice
Thanks for the feedback. I almost agree, most games have weapons that do damage however this was a bit of an experiment where I deliberately avoided this. If I return to this game I'd look at having small amounts of damage for hitting enemies with dice as well as the main damage area.
Would've like to see some interaction for when you hit an enemy with a die, right now i don't even know how exactly anything works (or why you can charge up your throw)
Thanks for trying it out. I've had a few similar comments that it's just not immediately obvious how damage works. A simple effect in the area between the dice and the player would have been a great addition to help.
It would have been nice if the coins would attract to your character, instead of requiring you to pick all of them up individually. It's a pretty fun game otherwise, though!
Thank you. I completely agree, even if it was proximity based. It's kind of sad seeing them just sit there once an enemy dies.
Really like the idea of only rolling the dice and and only having the chance to dodge.
Thank you. I appreciate it.
Pretty cool
Thank you.
Nice concept, but i had to read the comments to get how it works :D I played until 500 coins, but it would be cool if it actually gets more difficult over time :)
Thank you. I completely agree. It get quite stale after some time, it would be cool to have more interactive enemies arrive and a dice shop.
I ended up playing this game much more than I expected at first ! Well done
Thank you. I appreciate it.
Nice, original, concept pretty well executed.
I think that it might be a bit more intuitive if you can see the area that the dice will influence. It took me a while to see that the attacks would take effect in the triangle of the dice and me (?).
I had fun playing though :)
Thank you. I definitely agree that a visual effect around the area of effect would have been a good addition. I've had a few similar comments.
cool concept, need just more polish to be a cool little acrade game !
Thank you. I can definitely see that based on some other comments as well.
Cool concept, I had some trouble hitting the enemies with the diagonal throws, but maybe it would have been too easy with a horizontal one... Anyway, good job!
Thank you. Perhaps it wasn't clear enough that you had to capture enemies in an area of effect. There are a few comments with the same kind of comment.
This is a really well executed game with unique abilities, maybe adding more visual indicators for what's happening could help, but overall a great game.
Thank you. There is definitely a common theme about more visual indicators from the comments and I completely agree.
nice idea! simple yet really enjoyable!
Thank you
It's simple and it works!!! I wish there was a visual indication for the are wher the dice has effect though.
Overall this is good!
Thank you. A visual around the effect area has been a common theme among the feedback and I can see why. It would be so much more obvious what is going on.
This was pretty fun! Surprising roll results, interesting mechanic, and really fun physics when the dice just kick the coins out of existence. I would love to see some more content on this, with a good play loop this could get addictive really quick :)
Thank you. More content would definitely be cool. I had so many little ideas I had to cut due to the time limits. Maybe I'll get a chance to return to the game one day.
Fun concept but with a bit more animations it would be a lot more fun because 1. It looks better 2. It's clearer what happens. For example sometimes if you don't just stare at the health bars you can't really track what's happening.
Thank you. Quite a few comments have a similar theme. I think it could have been as simple as having an effect on the attack area of effect.
It is a very good concept, you can run the enemies in circles out (I didn't mind so much), but its still a pretty fun game! I like it :D
Thank you. It seems like herding enemies is a common theme between many comments.
This is a pretty good concept, but i find it a bit annoying how you have to hope for luck to deal some damage, also you can just run the enemies in circles, i think the core idea is good, but applied to a more action intense scenario and giving the player a bit more control, would work way better
Thank you. I completely agree. You end up herding enemies in quite a slow manor. If it were faster and the player had more control it would be awesome.
Interesting concept to throw dice like hand grenades!
Thank you
