Very nice blend of dice and RPG, it would be better if enemies were a little less difficult at first

That was surprisingly tactical. Nice take on the theme too, very unique! The art style was fun too, matched the game nicely and really connected it all together. Nice job!
I really like how you have to strategically order the dice you're giving to win a fight. The art while not special are pretty nice and the UI made always clear what happened. I just wish you could hover over the dice of your opponent as at first play you might not know all the dice and have to guess what the enemies dice do.
Cool game! This idea was one of my favorites so far, and I enjoy playing the game. You should expand this game after the jam and it would be really fun to play, maybe you could add perks to make the amount of health you get each time increase or something like that. Nice stuff!
It's basically combat Yahtzee! I really liked this concept, I feel like there's a lot you could do with it :)
it was a really good and completed strategy game. the new enemy and new attacks made me want to play. the only thing is, why the enemies don't get new powers too? that would be nice.
Really smart concept in the way it uses input randomness in such a way that it enforces variety in the gameplay and the need to adjust your plans but never just screws you over and makes the game feel unfair, so very well done! Also really enjoy the david v goliath feel of the characters!
Great work! :D
There’s a lot of depth to the gameplay, that’s very good! Went into it without reading instructions, I didn’t get at first that I could reroll, so I won my fight with the first roll only 🤣 Congratulations on delivering this by yourself!
Nice game! Theme is definitely used but it could be more central to the game. The animations are really nice! In future versions, the given fight mechanic could be wrapped in a story with cutscenes and other things, so it is a good basis for a more developed game.
Really cool take on the theme. The animation was really well done and clean. I think there could've been some more sfx/animation for the dice--a few times I wasn't really aware about what changed. Other than that, it was great to be able to see the enemy's moves, gave a lot of chances to strategize. If you decide to continue on development, definitely would recommend an opt to turn down the music. It was a good choice, but quite loud. Great game^^
It seems inspired by Slay the Spire? I like the dice twist though! I would have liked to feel like i had more choices during each turn, usually there seemed to be a clear best way to play the dice in hand. The art and music are great, and I'm always glad to see die without numbered faces! Great job!
Nice animation and awesome idea, loved it) It could be pretty neat rogue-lite)
I'm so glad you said that, putting the player in control instead of the rng was my main focus for the whole jam! You've made my day
I was thinking about your comment, if I'd changed the button to say 're-roll' or even separated out fight and roll buttons could have made it clearer. Or just a tutorial! I appreciate your feedback :)
Really cool ! I like the animations and the core mechanic of fight and customisation
Maybe I play a little too safe but my fights last very long haha
Glad you liked it!
There's a bit of luck of course in fight length but I appreciate your feedback! I would like to develop this further and find ways of encouraging the player to 'full send' it with attack buffs all stacked up. Or maybe an item pouch for a guaranteed heal when you really need it. Lots to think about. Appreciate your feedback!
