Super enjoyable game! Although the levels didn't feel particularly challenging, it was still fun to manage the movement and actions in the most optimal way. The icon to show what ability with be facing up on the potential move area was great! The one complaint I have is that the auto move path would favor one way over another. For example, if you wanted to move up 3 and left 1, you could only see the preview of one option. There's 3 separate faces of the die that could end up as the top depending on the roll order, but I could not plan ahead for any path other than the one given to me. Overall, very well done!
Really nice game! Everything's really polished and it feels great to play. The mechanics work nicely with people needing to strategize to not only get in a favorable position to not get hit but also have the right powerup showing up. The fireball powerup is a bit too op compared to everything else (range + aoe + high damage) so I ended up just spamming that for most of the time and the enemies couldn't really do anything, especially if I had two dice
The Game is very polished, and a lot of small design decisions made he game very easy to play
The Art. The feel and the concept are all good.
my only complain is it's a little bit easy, but i guess it's subjective, overall very nice!
I loved this game for its art and music, gameplay also was good but little bit overwhelming, overall i liked it, good job!
This game was great! The artwork is super cool and the music adds a lot to the atmosphere :) The gameplay is also super interesting and I love the concept of your attack being based on your movements! My one criticism would probably be that there's a lot of game information to remember, but that can be remedied by allowing the player to pull up info like spell effects and enemy types within the game at any time. Overall this game was super cool! :)
this game was really well presented and overall I very much so enjoyed it! the look was really cool! and the music was fun! I found it a little hard but it was an interesting concept so overall I found nothing to be that big of an issue with the game other than the arrows, I wanted those to be a little more usable other than that though it was an awesome game!
Great game that's really engaging. I like that rather than making the player flip around and try to get the boost they want, they can just hover over, which makes the game much more enjoyable and easy to strategize for. I can't think of anything that dtastically hindered play, but I agree with Henry_Hamster that a way to quantify how much damage an attack does outside of "a few" and "a lot" would be helpful since the game gives the player so much control already. Other than that, amazing entry^^
Very cool game! I don't think I was strategic enough, but i had fun! Played at https://twitch.tv/hedgein <3
Very fun! I was looking for a game like this. With a little bit more polish and options, I can see myself playing this game a lot more. Other than the buggy visuals, this game is pretty fun!
Engaging, strategic and fun, with very cool music and sfx!
The tutorial doesn't work properly with ultrawide monitor. But luckily you have the resolution and fullscreen settings, which fixes that bug.
I like your idea (quite similar to my game as you said). The game is very polished as well, the graphics and sfx etc. Well done.
Nice, like it. This is actually the first game in the jam, that has taught me that moving 4 tiles in one direction returns you die in its starting position, and I love it! I basically went through the whole game with a fireball spell, just AoE-ing everyone from 5-6 tiles away. I really love the idea of red tiles that you don't want to land on at the end of the end - really forces me to choose between a smaller set of options and optimize my movement. I wish movement was a default action, without having to choose it every time manually. The game is maybe a bit on the easy side, but I really like the core mechanic, would love to see more of it, Good job!
Really cute game. Well done. Nice idea and design. Some visual bugs with the canvases but a really fun strategic board game!
Would be awesome with multiplayer!!!
I really like the visuals and the concept, its very easy to play! However, i feel like the tutorial shouldve been more interactive, showing you how to play as you battle. Otherwise, great game! :D
Nice and polished game! I like the atmosphere a lot. I appreciate you can pick preselected path or you can go one by one exactly as you want to. Good job!
Cool graphics and the concept is unique. Great game overall.
After finishing the entire game, I'll have to say that this is a really entertaining tactical game. It definitely has a good degree of depth to what one should do each turn., especially with the fact that enemies deal a decent amount of damage, and the game itself was easily understandable. The one thing which I would like to suggest is maybe displaying beforehand how much damage each attack will do to an enemy, because I felt myself getting a big surprised when an enemy just survived with a sliver of health and I get rekt and also maybe an undo button for your moves, because sometimes I would be just out of reach to hit an attack. All in all, great game and I really had a lot of fun playing it! -Sincerely, Li-huan Shen
Really cool turn based game! I really like the Art and animations, and the music helps build the atmosphere, overall a pretty cool game! Good job!
Super polished game. Had a lot of fun playing it. If the development continues on this one, I would suggest it follows a more difficult route so that your strategic choices matter more. The idea of thinking where to move so that you also have the right spell to use is really clever :) Very good job overall!
The idea is wonderful, the game works smoothly, art and sound are also excellent! The only thing I would add is an x2 speed option, a super cool Into The Breach style tactical game, gg!
