I loved the little dice as mouse pointer, I could't stop to move it around. The game is solid and very well created and polished
Cool game with lots of juice and pop!
I like the simple, yet stylised graphics.
The controls were not the typical controls, but still easy to understand.
Great submission!
Thank you!! Glad you liked itt!!
This is a very fun idea especially if taken further and made faster/with even more enemy variety, some criticisms:
Sorry about that :( I have never made music before so it was my first time :/ but you can also turn off music in the settings!! I can see what you mean about the shapes hitting you on spawn, but I didn’t know how to fix it at the time so i just left it. One thing to avoid it tho is to stay at the top of the screen since they only spawn from the sides and bottom! And for the de-sync thing you just have to left click the window once so that your browser focuses the mouse again. This happens when you press the ‘Esc’ key and the browser frees the mouse but doesn’t send the ‘Esc’ key to the game. (Most browsers you need to double tap esc, annoying bug that u couldn’t work around in the time) Despite all of this I hope you still enjoyed!
Yeah it was still fun, would be interested to see more fully developed game with the idea for sure!
pretty good arcade game, I liked the design so much, respects :))
Thank you!!!Glad you like it :D
Really good job! I loved the aesthetic and the gameplay was really fun too! It felt really nice to control!
Thank you! Controls are always important to fine-tune!! Glad you like it!
Awesome game! The only one I have played on the jam with this design proposal. I felt much engaged during play, works very well.
Aw, Thanks!! Glad you enjoyed:))
Awesome little bullet hell game! Great job with this!
Thank you! First bullet hell I ever made, although I really like Jsab, and Project Arrhythmia!
Really fun game, gorgeous graphics and simple to understand gameplay :)
Thank you!!! Simplicity and complexity are a fine line in a game! Glad you think I did well on that :D
simple but fun mechanic!
Glad you like it!!
Game in nice neon art, once I saw it I must to play it. Slow start, but after some time it's real bullet hel!
Neon games are the besttt!!
Hey this is pretty cool! Pretty impressive that you did a dynamic soundtrack, I love those. The controls is a bit slippery though, but not too serious. I also wish its just a bit more fast-paced, though I think from a tutorial stand point this is ok, and its just a game jam after all.
Yeah I see what you mean, I also wanted to keep it not as difficult for people who have never played bullet hells before. Glad you enjoyed it though!!
This entry is really, really impressive, I can't believe you managed to create so much in the course of one weekend! The graphics are gorgeous, the game logic is simple to understand yet challenging, and there is a good amount of diversity with all the different enemies. Really good job!
Thank youu!! Some of the shapes took quite a bit to get right. The circle took almost 4 hours to do and fine tune!!
Awesome game, had a lot of fun trying it. I think it was really visually appealing with the neon sort of vibe.
Thank you!!! Always love that neon synth-wave aesthetic!
I love the aesthetic! I think the enemies could come in a bit more frequently though (less downtime between "round"). Also my cursor was desynced from the ship but that could be me running at 125% scaling on resolution. Nice game!
If that happens you can left click and the cursor should hide it self! And the rounds had more time since they try to sync to the music, I would have done more tweaking if i had the time!
Amazing game, I love the retro screen effect! It is very well done game!
Thank you!!!!
Very cute! Personally I would ramp it up faster, like spawning more enemies to fight faster.
I agree, with you although I wanted to keep the game more accessible to newer players who are not as advanced, or have never played bullet hells before! Maybe in the future. I’ll add multiple difficulties!
Looks really amazing. Quite enjoyable
Thank you :D
I like how the ship's health is represented by it crumbling and the different types of attacks to dodge are well thought out. I think adding a score to this would give it a lot of replay value.
Yes, I agree adding a score system was part of the original idea but I had to cut it since I was running put of time! Glad you enjoyed it though!
This looks incredible, very neon, very cool. And the gameplay is quite enjoyable and chaotic. Great Game!
Thank you!
Graphics and sound make game very enjoyable - great job!
