Game Description
It's about an out of control dinner party. You have to try to stop the chaos for as long as you can, but the end is inevitable... or is it?

I got to 12 and called it. Satisfying controls, but frustrating haha. I loved the little argument noises. I think some music would've really made this.
Couldn't get pass 8 lol, this game is addicting
Glad to see it catch on haha. Thanks for playing!
Super original idea! I love the presentation. It would have been nice to have a little more in the way of game mechanics, though. The end is inevitable, isn't it? :-) Some things to give the player more interesting and varied choices would have been nice. Great job!
As it is, the 16 mark seems impossible. However, it is part of the internal struggle of inevitable demise. Probably will have to balance it.
Thanks for the feedback!
Really funny game, nice concept and the sound voice really well done xd
Edit: Managed 13 guest in 76 seconds
Thanks for playing! :D
Interesting concept, really nice little game, challenging too! I couldn't get to 16 but that's because I was laughing too hard from the sounds! It's amazing. Great job!
Ah! That's a feature, the deadly laugh! Glad to see you like it!
I think that this was an impressive first entry to a Game Jam - and a solo effort. The concept is interesting and once you grasp what’s going on it’s fun and quite satisfying to separate the arguing people.
It’s a little difficult initially to work out who is the player character, I think you could have made them stand out a little more.
It’s also quite tricky to pick up the person you intend to when it starts to get crowded and this can be a little frustrating - especially when you lose the game due to it.
I think the babbling sounds of talking were fun - I think a sound meter showing the decibels, how much it is going up with the arguments that are breaking out and how close would be a great way to give the player feedback on how close they are to losing etc.
You are absolutely right about the player character (actually, it was the last one I created, when I ran out of ideas haha). The decibel idea it's also good. As it is now, you loose if more than half of the guests are arguing.
This is very good feedback! Thank you!
It's a funny game and I enjoyed it. I miraculously got 90 seconds for 14 guests first try, apparently that's a good score because I couldn't seem to reach that score again lol.
But yeah, I think reaching 16 guests is really hard because it mainly depends on hard luck. Maybe there isn't enough room, which I guess suits the theme nicely.
Over all, it's a nice game👌
I think you are the only one that managed to get to 14! Congratulations about that. Glad you enjoyed it!
And thanks for playing!
I liked the game, but it was really hard. I think there is just not enough space to get up to 16 because they keep wandering over and getting into fights - just like the real world :) The animation were good and clearly well worked on, and I liked the way an argument between 2 would quickly escalate as other joined in. I felt like I could only be in so many places at once! Great job!
As you say: just like the real world. There's just no room for eveyone to be confy and yet we have to get along haha
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really fun game and I loved the characters' expressions! :D I managed 89 seconds with 13 guests. At first I thought we should separate the guests but then i tried grouping the lookalikes together with more success! Very smart and funny idea, but this would be my worst nightmare in real life :D
It's the latent chaos behind every human interaction. Next time you see two people talking in the street you'll feel the urge to separate them 🤣
Thanks for the feedback!
Definitely... Interesting... haha I love it. Cute art style, interesting gameplay. Very short though. I feel like getting 16 is basically impossible.. At a certain point they just blah blah blah no matter where you put them haha
The faces they make when they argue are priceless xD and the "bo bo bobo bo" , I cracked some laughts
Good job!
I liked how the faces, the little hands animations and the babbling sounds reflected when the guests were getting angry.
I tried keeping like-minded people together... but they just liked to argue :D I couldn't get past 11 guests :(
Really enjoyed it. It's a lot of fun just carrying arguing people around and put them into a corner. The presentation is also really nice. Got to 72 Seconds, before everybody just started arguing. Great entry!
It's just really fun, and the sound effects haha. Love it xD
I enjoyed it. Like, I was amused by the absurdity of its premise and South Park-like art style.
Haha south park is quite a reference, indeed! Glad you enjoyed it!
I don't know how but you awakened a desire in me for a power I never knew I needed! If only this were all that was needed to break up arguments, although the inevitability of it all hits hard...
The bantering noises were spot-on and I could feel myself mentally wanting to pull my hair out, but my hands were tied to the keyboard!
As a comment below mentioned, I did not understand what preferences customers had and wasn't sure why they were charging across the room to argue at someone I split them off from, when all they really want is a likeminded friend.
Endearing and addictive to try to push further than before!
I reached about a minute on my first try and managed to push that further on a second run with 70s.

Haha, this is gold! The sound is perfect. My best was 63 seconds.
I didn't know how picking people up and moving them helped at first, but I got it eventually. Like someone else said, it's pretty funny when there is an argument and then it goes silent when you pick up one of the yelling people. Best I could do was 12 guests and 76 seconds. I didn't know if there were people that would get along better or if they liked sitting in certain spots, but I couldn't figure that part out. I see you responded to Sophia and said that people that look alike are less likely to argue, so I guess that makes sense and I should have figured that out. All in all, pretty satisfying. I really wanted to keep playing and get a better time, but I am not good enough lol
Glad to see it sticking out as being funny!
I tried to hint at the "people that look alike are less likely to argue" with the instruction line "Folks tend to be more tolerable to their own", but I guess it ended being just cryptid (or gramatically wrong?) haha. That was a late-thought mechanic, so it could use some more polish 😅
Thanks for the feedback!
The "to their own" part made me think they just like to be alone! Yeah, a slightly more explicit hint there would help.
Very enjoyable game, though! Might be interesting to have goals or levels, since it's hard to gauge how well you're doing as is.
Hm, yes I see why that could be confusing. I should change it to a more direct tip. I'm considering making it into a fuller experience by creating a bunch of characters with their own personalities to spice things up😏
Glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for the feedback!
Nice game! I really like the graphic and the expressions on their face. I tried my best to put the similar looking people together but some of them just want to argue no matter what I think. ha ha.
When you put similar people together, there is a higher chance of them tolerating each other. But alas, when someone is out there looking for a fight...
Thanks for playing! What was your highscore? :D
