*Portal vibes incoming*

I like those puzzle games were you just peaceully discover the game piece by piece. I needed a bit to figure out what's going on but then it was quite intuitive: find the right angle!

Took me a couple of rooms to realise what I was doing, but then really enjoyed the play through. Lighting is nice from the flares but they don't seem to throw any shadows? Might be tough with that many dynamic lights flying around. :)

Nice work on your first submission!

The game looks good, even though it's low detail the gun polygon shape and the fire effect are both great. The game was a little bit dark even though I had my monitor on maximum brightness, sometimes it was hard to tell what the map was like. The opening of door sounds was really on point for the theme and appearance of the game. I enjoyed it :)

Unfortunately i had to stop playing when i got a box stuck behind a pillar and there was no way to progress or restart the level :(

Wow! Really great job. I loved the game and played through to the end. Really creative idea. I enjoyed the puzzles, and the idea of using fireballs to light up the temple is fantastic. Great visuals and music too. Well done!

Thankyou so much for the kind words :)

My favorite jam game so far. Simple to play, clear to learn, fun to master... fits the theme. Love The Temple of Fire - Gave me some awesome Portal puzzle vibes. I think the bouncing fire ball is a little wonky though - I wish it was more clear where it was bouncing.

Awww thanks that's so nice. Yeah I want to be able to have some sort of line going off the bounce might be a nice edition to tell the angle

it must be a Godot export bug. There are a few in HTML5

I doubt it’s something you’ve done to be honest!

A clever game!  I liked how you felt you were exploring a dark space.  The puzzles weren't too hard but still made you think (although a couple of rooms I was able to pass just by firing randomly).  I thought it was a really good execution of the theme.

Developer

Thanks I really appreciate the feedback yeah I didn't want the puzzles to be too difficult as I wanted as many people as possible to finish them :) thanks for playing I'm glad you enjoyed.

This was a really fun game to play!  I was somewhat freaking out that it might have some horror elements (due to the dark atmosphere and moving walls), but was pleasantly surprised by the puzzle solving!  Controls feel very Portal-like (and there were companion cubes, haha).  I can see how this game could be easily expanded, to use more fire properties in solving puzzles.  Nice job with this one!

Developer

Thanks I really appreciate the feedback and I am glad you enjoyed it :) yeah I had some ideas for fuzes maybe and stuff like that, that I think would be cool.

Yee, flares go boing! What a package, feels like the perfectly scoped game jam game! Fun mechanic, and has the content to show it off! I had a good time, it's a fun little experience. The dynamic lighting creates a cool atmosphere and mood, especially the way the flare lights up where it is fired.

Pretty good, I felt a bit like a dwarf as I was so close to the ground, otherwise a nice little game.

Developer

Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed yeah I kinda had the same feeling with the dwarf feeling lol!

Thanks for playing!
