Very good! I had to look at the comments to get some hints, so I think it could use some work in terms of hints and UX, but I played to the end. Graphics got the highest rating for me. Good job :)

What a nice point-and-click adventure type game! I love the puzzles in this one, they're just the right difficulty and make you feel smart for figuring them out like every good puzzle should. My favorite was the flag one.
Music cues were rewarding for figuring things out. The controls were convenient, i'm glad I didn't have to get close to things to click on them necessarily.
I laughed when I tried the door and there's a dragon sitting there. Well done
fun puzzles and story, i like this take on the damsel in distress trope. nice use of the assets and music. the ending was hilarious, thank you for your submission and great job!
Very nice artwork. Everything looks so nice. the puzzle difficulty was on point and the ending sequence was funny :D
One of my favourites in this jam
This kept me engaged enough to finish it. I had a little issue solving the flag puzzle but only because I didn't know I could drag them, luckily a comment here let me know. Other than that it was fairly straight forward though some interaction highlighting would have been welcome.
Loved (what felt like to me) a deadpan stare into the camera at the end haha.
was enjoying it, but in the middle of the game the camera shifted? it was zoom in and i can't see much anymore.
awesome! played it until the end. could've made the interactable elements clearer, like making it clear which ones can be dragged and what not. would've also loved some accessibility settings as well. still, really good game! i liked it!
consider trying my game as well, which funnily enough has a similar (albeit darker) premise. thanks!
Cute submission. I loved it. Played till the end.
Couple of things for feedback:
- I was stuck some time in puzzle #2 because I did not reealize you could turn around pages
- I was able to easily brute force a puzzle (the one with the 4 lamps I think)
- I wish the key was auto use. I was on the verge of aborting my run before I realized that you have to select an item for it to be usable. In the case of keys I don't think thats necessary
- There was a bug at the dragon which almost forced me to quit because I was in the room again but the graphics still showed the dragon. Fortunately the bug is solved by just moving to the right in the next room.
Audio and graphics are stellar, BUT I deducted a star because from what I saw on the game page you didn't do any asset yourself? I don't think thats a problem per se, but would say it's unfair to those who did all their assets for the jam from scratch. I hope you understand.
Fun is 5/5, btw :)
Wow, incredible atmosphere. I left feeling like there was still more to explore in this castle. I was a little wary of the backtracking, but it ended up being a cool mechanic where you never had to go too far. You used the tilemap to great effect in creating different regions of the tower! The ending was also perfectly understated and made me smile. I especially liked the celebration upon solving the jousting tournament!
I loved this! The game concept is really good, all the puzzles were fun to complete, I just got stuck in the flags one since I didn't know I needed to drag them. Other than that, I enjoyed the game a lot!
Also, art and music are really lovely
Lovely point and clicker ! The puzzles are amazing for a jam game and the story is great
I loved the pixel art. Very good work there. Puzzles were a bit hard. I discovered the lights and the interaction and most of the sequence without the book. There wasn't really any indication that the lights would open the door so I thought I had found cute little interaction with the environment rather than a puzzle. I was completely lost in the potion room. I have an understanding of the puzzle elements from the book now but no idea what I need to interact with in order to solve the puzzle. More feedback for the player when they are clicking about and some more direction as to what I'm supposed to do in the puzzles would go a long way.
Nice job over all!
This was cool! I definitely wish I could have gotten further, but enjoyed what I got to see. Like with most pixel hunts, I definitely wish it had been a little easier to tell what would be interactive without needing to mouse over looking for hot-spots. I did LOVE how the tower felt like it had a real internal geography, and I wasn't just going from puzzle room to puzzle room. The feeling of progression rooted in space really made the game come alive.
Thanks for a comment. If you would like for me to give you some hint how to progess in some puzzle just say so! I'll be glad to help. We didn't want to make game too easy and not interesting but we might have gone too far in the other direction. I hope you would come back to our game and give it a second try : )
This game does a nice job capturing the heart of point and click games. I had a lot of fun trying to figure things out. Cool experience--thanks!
