Simple yet very well done. The HUD freezing effects were nice, and I liked the floaty feel in zero gravity. Nice job!
Love this! It was oddly calming to drill rocks in space... Floating around felt very good, and the art style is very nice too. Good job on completing your first entry, it's a very well made game :-)
I really liked this game. The freezing HUD was really, really cool. I actually liked the lack of music (I'm weird). It emphasized the feeling of emptiness and that oh-no feeling you get when your car breaks down (the radio dies).
I am really glad about the level of mining. It was just about perfect. I didn't realize that you put crystals in one at a time, and thought it automatically deposited them all, so when I first checked the levels and saw 10%, I freaked out a little. Flashbacks from runescape and final fantasy power grinding came to mind.
So good! Very high quality entry gamer :D Loved the meteorite deterioration, made the drilling a bit more rewarding to see it in action!
UI aspects were all very purposeful and looked great, art overall is fantastic and I actually enjoyed the silence over music but maybe some white noise or breathing (might also be annoying) would add something to the atmosphere when outside the ship.
Loved interacting with the computer and the text entry bit, dialogue and button press options being positioned so far apart had me lost at first but once I saw that the button options appear near the player / computer, I was fine! Might be worth seeing if dialogue and buttons should be together just to eliminate that initial confusion.
Thank you for putting your time and energy into this entry, it has paid off and is a great game :D
I really liked the style, it's simple but it manages to hook you enough to finish the game. My only criticism is that I think it lacked some atmospheric music or sound to accompany the environment and give it more immersion.
Still, it's a great job! :D
One of the coolest 2D space minigames ever. You really got everything right, zero g physics, and the artwork: incredible stuff, very inspiring. Funny dialogue, a bit too silent maybe. If you had more time, I'm sure we could blast them asteroids and fly that spaceship home in epic fashion.
I thought the game would be a lil bigger, but wouldn't say im dissapointed. The game is really short but i love its atmosphere. Honesly, lack of bg music feels much better in the context of the game(no sound in space lol). The game could've been harder, but i still like how minimalistic and simple it is.
Oh, I've seen your stream! :)
I liked the aesthetics, especially how "empty" and "frigid" the space feels :) And the screen freeze was fantastic!
Collecting crystals was a bit tedious, though, and at some point, the sound of steps disappeared.
Very atmospheric and well-rounded experience!
I liked this! Great aesthetics, I really enjoyed walking into the ship everytime, i think that transition works well and creates a great sense of safe haven. I think you should expand on this and it could be really cool.
A bit of background music would be awesome, and I would have loved more visual indication of how far the rocks are along to breaking, as initially I wasn't even sure I was doing the right thing with the drill.
Movement in space doesn't quite feel fun exactly - it could do with a little tweaking I think to feel more skillful than slow and frustrating, especially with rocks flying away from you as you drill.
The quest system was really cool and you had some nice writing in the game! I'd love to see other threats out in space. There's a lot here, and I think it's an awesome take on the theme.
The aesthetics of the game is on top, the gameplay and idea were pretty cool, although could use some suspenseful or bg music of some sort
Short and sweet. Nice job. Would be nice if there was some atmospheric music.
Nice game! Its biggest strength to me is definitely its sense of atmosphere. The gameplay isn't the most exciting thing in the world but the visuals were very pretty to look at. I would love to see a version of this with slightly more in-depth mechanics.
Super cool. Short but sweet and interesting. The art looks amazing and the gameplay was pretty smooth. I could see this being a bigger game if you stick with it!
At first I was wondering if there was no sound or if the game was bugged for me, but then I clocked in that, in space there is no sound :p I'm not sure if that was intentional, but cool anyways.
Loved the aesthetic and can imagine so many fun exploration aspects in this! The timer aspect of the freeze is a nice survival element!
I love it. The astronaut looks cute and I wanted to explore the well made space area. Also the mechanic that you move slower the more frozen you are, adds a sense of urgency. I like it. Thank you for the game :D
Love the game. Nice graphics. Waiting for the next episode ....
Great Job
