It's such a lovely idea to play as Louis XIV's puppy! The dialogues are vivid. I wish I could have more clues for decision-making but it is still fun to explore the history of France in this way. The control is not very intuitive for me since both the arrow keys and mouse are on my right side. I'm not sure why but I once saw the puppy walking backwards.
Thank you ! For the clues, it's because I wanted to put the player with a dog's vision, so you don't really know what your actions can do. But in the same time, as a human player, you have some idea (for example with the "War table", you see some wooden soldier, you can imagine it will change the plans, but you don't know how exactly.
For the controls, yeah I know, as I say to someone, I wanted to do WASD, but my keyboard is in ZQSD, so I decided for anyone who have AZERTY's keyboard to put the arrows, I could have done both didn't think about it.
Oh for the walking backwards, I think it might be a bug.

Very interesting idea executed pretty well! The detail in the art, music and sound effects are great! My only suggestion would be to implement proper keyboard control, like interact with space key. Having to use mouse and arrow key at the same time feels a bit strange. Other than that, great job!
Thanks you and thanks for the feedback ! Yeah it could have been better. At first, I wanted to do WASD keys, but as I'm french, my keyboard is in AZERTY, not QWERY, so it would have been ZQSD which is not the best for QWERTY's users.

Very charming game. The music was great and the gameplay was simple, but fun, and the lighthearted tone goes well with the art style and music. I can also see this being expanded into a larger project that would be really fun to play. ("It's a lovely day in Versailles and you are Louis XIV's favorite dog...")

The game is very charming. I teach English online and showed a bunch of kids the game, without exception they loved it(Even the older 13-17 crowd), and i get to basically do nothing for 5-10 minutes per student.

Really funny game, doggo is cute as hell. I got stuck a couple of times but thanks to the Restart Scene button I was able to finish it. Nothing to envy to telltale, great game!
Thanks that's so sweet <3 ! Yeah usually you got stuck when you click a lot (that's what I experiment when tracking bugs), and I didn't managed to find why it does that.
That was a fun run through. The dog has character and it's a funny way to illustrate the history around the Sun King Loius X1V.

Such a fun cute little game, I enjoyed being able to pick between two different options and how at the end of the game it says what the results were from my choices. Other than the speed of the text when reading between scenes, everything was good.

Yeah I wanted to change the speed of the text, but I'm not really good at coding, so it created bugs when I did that.

Une version en langue française pourrait aider le jeune public qui ne maîtrise pas encore l'anglais à profiter du jeu aussi ! Est-ce prévu ?
