Description
While crafting this piece, I wanted to capture the essence of light battling through the depths of darkness. The composition begins with an ominous atmosphere, setting the stage with dreamy pads followed by a resonant sub kick. This creates an immersive foundation, a canvas of shadow that draws the listener into the heart of darkness.
As we continue, I introduced octave bass synths alternating, which add layers of intensity, pulling the listener further into the abyss. The tension builds, the atmosphere growing heavier and heavier.
The strings initiate a glimmer of hopes, as a delicate reflection, a small but persistent light that begins to shine through. This light gradually intensifies, pushing against the weight of the darkness. The strings swell, their brightness growing more pronounced, until they reach a powerful crescendo.
At the climax, the full orchestra erupts, a triumphant burst of light that finally put all the peices together. The once-overwhelming shadows are shattered.
I kept the end almost as the beginning with a glimpse of hope remaining, like the battle is not over.

Interesting composition! Super cinematic! I could imagine this in a superhero movie. I mean that in the best way!
This is really cool, very cinematic!I think the synth arp/build up leading to the bigger more upbeat section could have been implemented more smoothly, feels kind of like a crossfade. But that's really my only complaint! Your compositional skills are showing for sure! Great work!
OOO YEAH! TIME FOR A COOL PUBLICATION!
I love it! Slow synthy build up of sound along with orchestration and then..... A gorgeous beat that I like very much! (Damn, you know what can buy me.)
This sounds like an Ace Combat song at times, I loved it
Gave me literal goosebumps man.
It's super cinematic, but also just powerful. I really like this a lot.
I love the buildup of this track, it sounds awesome :D I'm not sure if I like the electronic arp coming in at around 1:10, to me it feels a bit misplaced? But it's only briefly there and then the climax is great! Good stuff :D
I agree, I would actually remake everything from 1:00 to the end. I'll fix things up, thank you for listening :)
This was such a cool build up and climax, I could really see this in a sci-fi esque movie scored over some triumphant moment, like a spaceship taking off and seeing the galaxy spread out in front of it. I loved some of the more abstract sound choices you had in this, overall well done
Man, the electronic beat coming in mid way through was a great addition! The Stargate SG-1 theme tune has ingrained such a strong Sci-Fi feeling to my head whenever I hear he b6 in major. Great track and really solid mix!
The beginning is like :
Otherwise, splendid work, as always ;) Absolutely in love with the piano sound at 0:56, such an immense majestic feeling it gives <3
Beautifull sound, orchectration is top notch! Shaker-like percussion on 1:13-1:44 is bit to loud, but overall track, dynamics, progression, textures sounds gorgeous.
Yes I know, way too much high-end at the percussions climax. I will fix this !
Name is very apt, sounds huge. Love the fluttering percussion.
Great sound design. The fast paced drums were a pleasant surprise! The ♭6 in a major context (particularly over the tonic chord) always adds this nice sense of wonder, and it's very present here. Great work!
Seriously impressive, really cinematic! The blend of orchestra/synths and mix are outstanding. I remember your work from OST jam too, such a cinematic style to achieve. The production quality's great, and natural development. Big scurrying fan too!
Halfway through when the synth came in it was super great! The second half was fantastic and the buildup was great too!
I wish that high energy part got to stay a bit longer.
I also liked the scurrying noise.
