I knew your game would place high! Congrats on placing first overall :D
Fantastic work! I really enjoyed this a lot. Only wish is that the enemy health bar was more visible near the bottom of the screen. Later Carriages have you moving quick and it's hard to get that quick look at the enemy health bar. Great quick rogue-like!
Wow really cool battle system. Nicely balanced as well. I felt like a badass rushing through the train, chopping down my foes.
Amazing art. So many monsters designs with animations as well.
Super impressive. Well done.
Wow this game is fantastic! Most unique combat I've ever played and also very fun. The art is really incredible especially for a game jam. I really wanted to beat it, but I guess I'm not quite good enough. Furthest I got to was carriage 8 I believe. One tweak I'd personally make is maybe give the monsters a little less health though maybe it's perfect for other players. Really great work here! I hope a lot more people get to play it!!
Really Cool game! I didn't finish it yet since I kept losing at the later levels :v. But I enjoyed it a lot. Maybe add more feedback when you're taking damage and the enemy is taking damage, since i have to constantly look at the board sometimes I miss what happens and I'm already at 2 hearts. Overall a cool roguelike experience! Proud of other godot games as well :^D
Omg the art in this game is superb! And I love the main menu :) It's really simple and fun to play, and giving me choices of which powerups to get? Wow!
The difficulty ramps up really nicely, so well done on that. My only gripe was the lack of a checkpoint system, as dying and going back to the start felt a little punishing.
Really unique concept and excellently put together! Nice one! I do wish I didn't have to look down at the bottom part so much as I missed all the cool animations happening up top lol
cool! played it on stream with crafty:
A little visual tutorial, just one fight, would be nice but it's good as it is! Artwork looks stunning, music sounds well too! I really loved the concept of fighting like this (press on the dots and traverse back and forth on the map to both defend yourself and attack the opponent, i had a lot of fun with this). Really good!
Wow really good game! The art its amazing and the gameplay its very original and well done. I can play for hours this. Great work!
Man, I was so closing to beating that final carriage, but I let myself get surrounded :(
You put together quite the complete experience with amazing art, sound and game feel. You even allow clicking multiple stars in sequence which makes traversal much more convenient.
Your game is one of the best I've played this jam. Truly awesome work!
Also, it's great to see a fellow Godot users!
I love how detail the art is and how well it works with the gameplay, nice work!
Amazing artwork and a really tight game, awesome work! Love all the effort on the itch page, nice itch pages always impress me. I didn't quite understand how to like strategize in this game, I think that's my own fault though. I just kinda chased the weak points around and that always did the job. I like that you incorporated the character battling along in the top, it all looks really really nice! Awesome work!
I haven't played anything like this connect-the-stars dueler. Once you get the hang of constellation dashing - there's no greater feeling than shutting down an enemy's advance before landing an offensive combo of your own.
It's a demanding game, and I'm thankful the queued travel feature exists. After taking around 5 attempts to take down the Argo Navis, I think its safe to say that the team created something very unique and coherent from the theme.
This game would fit right at home on the Nintendo DS, but I'll settle for playing it on the PC :P Nicely done.
Loved the art style and the unique idea great game. Great job!
hi im the developer of, https://itch.io/jam/lost-relic-games-1/rate/1580606
This is so good. I can't believe how you took the idea of connecting lines and made it a fast pace game. On top of that with improving upgrades ! The music and sound effects are top notch. I've got nothing much to add on but maybe when will this be on steam? hahaha
Great concept and very fun gameplay. A nice way to do combat and very extensible. Upgrades we're also interesting additions.
We talked on discord so I don't have much to say here. :)
the art style look very detail, i love it
this game is really great, it has some amazing assets and code. I really like the game mechanics and love how difficult they are, as it makes for a really intense atmosphere. I also though the animations were done beautifully and go really well with everything else. however I don't think the theme was very clearly linked , at least I didn't get it. One other criticism I have is the lack of check points. this game is rather difficult and lengthy and without checkpoints it can be very frustrating for players and lose you a lot of player engage
meant. overall I think this game is very strongly refined and is a very promising project for the future and is one of the best ones I have seen this jam well-done guys and girls :)I love this game! Granted I couldn't make it past the 5th or 6th stage, I enjoyed the gameplay a lot, as well as the amazing artwork. Love the concept and enemy design too, my only two suggestions would be to add checkpoints maybe? For people who suck like myself haha. And also I agree with what someone else said, I was very focused on the bottom half of the screen and didn't even realize enemies had health bars! But overall very fun and charming game, well done!
