Interesting concept. I liked the way you share the battery and work the problems together.
I found the lens distortion a bit too much but maybe it only a matter of taste!
Nice Game!
Thanks for the feedback! I was aware that might be the case so I have in the settings under “graphics” all of the various shader effects listed so they can all be turned off /on if they are a bit to much (the chromatic aberration is to much for me)
The web gl version is exrtremely broken and shouldn't have been released at the state it was in.
Hey! Thanks for the feedback. The issue was with our shader code, we were running the code twice every frame by accident. On our local ends it wasn't causing issues but the web build caused it to be more laggy and caused issues. If you want to retry it we'd appreciate it!
I downloaded the .exe version.Luckily that made the falling throught the floor glitch not happen as often. The game can be fun but the difficulty bumps up too fast.
Really enjoyed playing the game. Really great idea and execution. How do you find the time to make all these games? Do you sleep?
First off, I really enjoyed the camera. I felt like I was playing on an old box tv or an arcade machine!
Now to the actual gameplay, the back and forth between the 2 robots and how they depended on eachother, not just their abilities but also their battery, was super dope! The combat was also well made and snappy, with good sfx and quick responsive controls. It was also cool how both characters abilities could be utilized in combo while in combat to deal extra damage!
Clever puzzles and combat. I like how you can freeze enemies with your shield to avoid losing less life in a combat encounter.
Great game, I like the battery mechanic.
First off, I'm impressed by how solid the game is mechanically. It all flows, moves and behaves really nicely, is visually clear, sounds good and has a nice tutorial, really solid work. I like the whole battery sharing mechanic, I think it could've maybe been simplified to a single button to simply, half share your battery, but also the sliders help make it clear exactly what is happening and that adds a bit of juggling your battery which is also quite cool. I like that the two robots are very distinct and that you've made a really nice synergy between them with freezing enemies and then electrocuting them for extra damage, that's really great. Some really nice level design too, the levels never felt overwhelming and never felt too easy either, in fact the last levels were damn tough! Really well put together game, it was a pleasure to play through from beginning to end, great work :)
Nice game. I struggled a little with player controls at times but I was using a laptop so that probably explains it. Visually it was quite good, all fit together well and looked nice.
It seems funny but I can't play it. I fall in the floor before I kill my first enemy.
Nice little puzzle platformer, might have been just me but sometimes the platforming felt a little off with sticking into platforms and falling when I felt I landed it. Then again, I'm not very good at platformer as is XD.
Good job :).
neat game. I got stuck in a hole with minimal battery and my other robot had 0% so i could not reach him. I didn't encounter the bug though.
When I froze my ally and had him run through the fire, I audibly said "Oh that's cool". Liked it a lot, but I will say the menu for giving energy to open the door confused me.
Reeeaaally good game!!! It felt really fresh and with lots smart design elements!
I love the idea, the design and I love your entry!
Very good game. Had a lot of fun playing and really enjoyed everything from the music to the art to the overall gameplay.
Great job!
this game is one of the top game on here
I love the level design in the game as it forces you to actually use both robots. The audio fits the art theme really well, gameplay was fun and got me thinking of how to solve the puzzle in the area. I like the whole, shooting a barrier mechanic, was pretty unique. I did notice a bug where i was in the game and hit the fullscreen button, it makes the robot fall through the floor. Other than that, Fun game and good job!
Thanks for the feedback! We discovered the 'fall through the floor bug' late in development, I know what is causing it but currently don't know how to fix it.
Cool game idea!
Good Game design too. You really need to use both robots to finish the stages. Good work!
Nice idea. Played the first level, but then the robots kind of fell through the floor.
The sharing of energy between robots is a bit clunky with the menu. A button to give or take energy from the other robot would make that a bit easier and more fluid.
Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately the robots falling through the ground happens when the game lags from going full screen or via other means.
I'll play around with it some to see if I can get the button idea working. Thanks for the suggestion!
