The game is very juicy. good atmosphere.
Great work! i really like the atmosphere and the juice of the game.
IT would have been nice to see a little more at the end,, other then "thanks for playing"...
I agree with the below comments, there wasnt that much of a challenge per say, more obstacles may have made it a tad more challenging;
There are many games with this mechanic in the jam but without a doubt yours is the most polished and the most beautiful. the art and the animations are great and the feeling of the movement the jumps and everything is super polished, very good job, congratulations
Great mood. The rain was very relaxing and the art was beautiful. The controls didn't work for me but that happens with some games so probably on my end.
I liked the idea but felt that you could have expanded on using yourself as platforms, otherwise great game
Very well presented, and a nice concept too. The main gimick of the game (using your body as a platform) is introduced but then isnt really used as a focus in any other levels, the spikes just become platforms in your mind and you pass them idly, so you should definitely think of some new creative ways to use the idea to make the game less repetitve. Overall a beautiful game with a cool concept that just needed some more creative level design
Thank you!
I really struggled with level design, the spikes just ended up forcing the player to redo certain sections which can be annoying. Ive been experimenting with new levels where the player blocks spikes that fall from the ceiling, or weighs down a platform causing it to move but it still feels repetitive and boring once you've done it.
I am definitely open to suggestions
I think the best way to make fresh and interesting levels is to mix all your concepts in different ways together. If you have a bunch of cool ideas but seperate each into its own level, things can get boring quick. By making a level to introduce an idea, then mixing it up with ideas the player is already familiar with, stuff you found boring in playtesting can become really quite fun i find. If i remember correctly games like Portal do this with basically all their features.
i do also have some suggestions for features too. both moving spikes and platforms being wayed down are really cool ideas and, as i said, they'll become way less repetitve if you mix them together well. I also think a grapple hook feature may be cool, where you can only grapple to player blocks (obviously available only on some levels) which could give the game opportunity for some much larger levels. and moving spikes that get stuck to player blocks, taking it with them until they hit a wall or the floor or ceiling (that way the player has to think about where the spike will go before turning dying).
Any idea you come up with will be great with time and effort :)
The atmosphere is very nice. The player sounds like meat. Simple and effective
I absolutely loved the simple art style and the sound design of the game, controls and the cube animation absolutely amazing.
This is awesome! The sound design is amazing and the controls feel nice
I really like the mood of the game. The rain sounds and all the visuals are stunning.
I basically submitted a game with the same concept but your game is on another level. Great work, really!
Love the gameplay and the artstyle! I had a good time playing it and the visuals really put the game over the top. Excellent game! :D
I think this might be a winner out of all the sacrificial platformers! The visuals were obviously fantastic, and there were so many little sources of juice (the particles, the squish on jumping, the tilt on moving, the rain in the background), but not only that: the physics felt good, the jump was snappy and responsive, and it all felt really nice to control. Great job!
A pretty common take, however, what sets its apart is its close to flawless execution, the gameplay feels amazing, the sound and visuals are both on point, and the character feels really good to control. The difficulty could be increased slightly, but for a game jam game this has enough content, even ignoring the execution. Good luck on your submission and I hope you had fun! -Sincerely, Henry_Hamster
Your game is so beautiful! I really liked it
Very juicy!
I enjoyed to play it ! The art is beautyful, the LD and your use of limitation is cool !! ' v ' )
WOW! this game looks really pretty. Even though this game its pretty short I still had fun playing it. The limitation was used well too. I really hope you win

Enjoyment: The game was fun but mostly felt like a demo and also there was a small bug where there the jump pad fell onto a spike and kept bouncing up but other than that was pretty good!
Concept: I gotta say its good cause I had the same idea 😅
Presentation: The game all looks really great, I love the all the environment art and the ambient sound is really good.
Use of the Limitation: Good.
Thank you so much!
I was afraid that people wouldnt figure out the last puzzle, you were supposed to die on the spikes so the jump pad can stay there. The bounce was the best solution I could come up with to keep the jump pad off the spikes.
Going to play your game right now.
Hmm well I was able to beat it without dying on the spikes. Another solution could have been to have the bounce pads break when put on spikes.
i pushed the trampoline on the spikes and accidentally jumped on top
Absolutely beautiful. There are quite a few similar concepts floating around this jam but something about the execution of this one feels really good. Your art is lovely and the game feels very snappy to play. I think you nailed this one, great job.
