Really nice Game, I love the crush and the dialogues are funny. To Unlock the next challenge you have to use all the previous challenge at the same Time ? Seems a lot ! Or maybe i misunderstood how it works. Have a nice day
not necessarily. You can switch challenges on and off and you only have to match amount of challenge points needed to unlock next challenge. This means that for example to unlock sunglasses, you need all previous challenges, however to unlock next challenge you only need sunglasses and double jump
Her comments are......
Very fun game!
I really enjoyed the concept of letting myself choose what made the game more difficult. Great job!
lmaoo xD this was funny and a cool idea for a platformer -great job!!
the disrespect from that b... Nice game tho.
Check out my review of your game at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
It was pretty challenging to try and complete the last one but after timing my jumps to see how long I should hold the buttons, I managed to beat it with a score of 1000. I realized afterwards that if I turned on the cool sunglasses I would've gotten 200 more points.
Heya - I liked the retro-style art you made!
The controls with the main character felt like they could have been more dynamic. The jumping was a little bit floaty and slow.
Nonetheless, I still had a good time :)
The idea is really fun and it feels like it's your choice will you equip something (even though you need to equip everything), but at the end I stopped at the sunglass thing because that's like impossible.
You don't have to equip everything for the last level, only sunglasses and double jump I believe.
The incresing number of mechanics on each levels it was very well done. This is also the very first game that made me laugh in real life. The jumping felt off, but that's the only thing that I disliked. Marvelous entry!
Great game.
Fantastic game! I enjoyed it all the way through. The concept and presentation were top notch, good humor and fair difficulty. The only place I'm unsure of is the limitation. Clearly, there's no RNG (except maybe the things girlfriend says?), but aside from being purely skill-based, it doesn't seem like there's something that makes the lack of RNG stand out. Regardless, this game is a gem. Good job!
Basically All Skill, only RNG I see is crush's death comments
I really liked it! I love the idea of being able to choose the negative attributes of the level.
I think if I was going to improve one thing it would be to make more use of the limitation. I did a platformer myself as well and saw it as just not using RNG, but the more I think about it we could have done things that actively involved the limitation rather than just stricktly not using RNG. Something like havng to remember a non-random sequence. Like if all the fading/moving/dropping platforms all happend on a music beat so when you played the game with sunglasses you could still do it with all the challenges if you learnt the right music beat/timing to jump.
I dunno, that might be a terrible idea haha but food for thought maybe.
Good job!
This game reminds of me some bad memories... Super-fun game. Nice!
The controls are comfortable and fun! That ribbon girl is super annoying!
Very cute and nice idea. The art is adorable, maybe you should use a pixel font to match the style?
It was very challenging once the platforms start fading with the ghost. Controls are good, something very important with platformers. It reminds me of the jump from hollow knight combined with a double jump.
This crush must be the last person in existence with what that poor soul has been through. I definitely got my ass kicked on this, tried at least two-dozen times to beat the first level with disappearing blocks...only to have my vision taken away later on! Nicely done though!
Impressed by how the concept of "take the risk and get your return" is applied to a platformer design. The sunglasses and the weight gimmicks were brilliant.
+ Don't date with a person who tests you...
Very polished, and I like the challenges. One little thing I noticed is that your crush's responses seem random (even though it doesn't affect gameplay).
