love this! Love what you've done with assets given for the jam.
Cool how you keep having more equipment as you go.
Also the good amount of polishing made the experience really fun to play!
Keep it up!

Oh yeah, you know what? 5/5 on polish. Slow-down and stutter when killing or spawning enemies, the leaves falling, the trees in the wind. Excellent.
You should be a bit more careful with which entities are in front of which, and where the skull projectiles collide, sometimes I was in front of trees or behind houses, and my projectiles would explode on nothing.
But it was an atmospheric, pretty intense fight as-is. Good job!
I wish you would have made more with the base concept, in the end it felt like possessing armor was just a way to have a cool main character. I understood the cool thing about it only at the end when I got hit and saw my boots disappear.
But this is a very small thing compared to the rest. This might be the most polished game I've played so far. the effects look nice and it controls well, I really enjoyed my time with it. Well done!
The armor is your health, when you take a certain amount of damage you start to loose the pieces. The initial idea was to create some mix of battle and puzzle, I have created a whole mechanic to possess and loose armor pieces respecting priorities and stuff. But the clock ticked too fast and I had to stick with the combat only.
Thanks for playing!
Some of the lighting effects are pretty nice. I found it frustrating that the forested area looked explorable but I was blocked out of it by invisible walls.
Hey there ntoheuns, good to know you wanted to explore the forest, the initial idea was to make it more explorable, but my time budget was becoming thin, I had to create colliders so you don't go into a black area of nothingness. It feels great to me that part of the idea of challenging the player to explore was achieved. Thanks for the feedback!
Visually stunning with all the lights, particles and projectiles! Good job!
Great game! Love the effects you used. A vignette effect would also work great I think. The game was really fun to play and the animations and particles do so much!
I can finally fulfil my dreams of becoming a haunted armour set! The combat and effects in this are great, I could only ask for some random pitch variation for enemies being hit
Ooh, I love the lights, animations, and the attack. Great atmosphere, solid game!
What a juicy game! The graphics are beautiful, I liked a lot the visual effects of the spell!
The gameplay is quite nervous, it is something that I love!
However, it seems that the colliders are misplaced so I hit often invisible walls, which provoked some blocking situations. And, it is too bad that you have to redo everything after dying, it would have be nice to have some save states.
Apart from that, very nice work!
Fun game! I reeeeally like the wind effect/animation with the trees, very clever and provides an awesome atmosphere. Combat was challenging, satisfying and looked awesome. My only critique is on the path to the boss I ran into invisible walls a few times figuring out the direction to take - maybe just me!
Really well done! Game looks super polished and I love the music and sound effects, they all pair super well for the atmosphere.
Dude this game is SICK!! You nailed the visuals, that projectile is spot on.
I couldn't get vengeance though, as I also had a portion of the screen on the right side cut off with black(I wasn't full screen though). Might wanna look into it and fix it.

Amazing game! The flowing trees, the lighting, and the particle effects all made the world feel alive. The projectiles looked super sweet too. I liked the idea of a ghost gradually becoming whole too. The damage/ death animations were really juicy and gave a lot of feedback. The character could be a bit faster but overall great job! This game definitely deserves more attention!
Great bit of fun! The visuals on the projectiles were great, very good choice of colours and the lighting on them too really made the combat moments pop. Also that slight slow mo when you get hit was a really nice touch.
The only 'issue' I had was when in full screen, the right hand side of the screen had a black box obscuring some of my view, I'm pretty certain it's the fade in/out effect getting stuck. Maybe it's just me but it happened twice. I still managed to finish the game but with a quarter of my screen missing. Other than that it's a solid entry!
Dayum, this game is pretty! All those glowy particle effects feels amazing; however it can be difficult to keep track of things when too many effects are going off. The feel of dashing while casting spells is great too. I think this is a pretty polished game that has some potential if more interesting mechanics are introduced. Overall, I enjoyed it!
I just started your game, I'm instantly hooked, 14/15 this is amazing.
