Description
I used FL Studio.
I haven't really thought about what genre the songs would fall in, I guess it's ambient and electronic.
surface relaxation is supposed to represent an ocean theme, in the waves confortable represents a fish theme, walking in the seagrass is the theme of the girl, in the waves aggressive is the battle theme.
The game would be, as I describe in the description of the project, similar to Yume Nikki, but on the ocean.

Cool! There is a sense of a little drive, experimental fun and drugs

In The Waves, Confortable  was my favourite. I love that synth sound <3

The second song was my favorite because I like higher energy songs but I also think it was really heavy on my right ear which caused some fatigue.

I liked it very much, works really well with the theme

Interesting blend of jenres, textures and instruments, nice to listen)

I disagree with folks saying the second song doesn't fit or belong, I think narratives through music deserve one or two tracks that go rogue and establish a different mood or tone and I believe you did that successful. Good work

The long chords and discordant vibes in Surface Relaxation give me a cool Angelo Badalamenti vibe.

i really like the first song so far, i think the only thing i would have done is add a bit of a harsher bass nice and quiet down, seperate to the electric bass to help ground your chords a bit more, as i find they are sometimes clashing with the melody as there is a lot happening in that upper range. Not to say its bad, this could just help flesh out your concepts a bit more because this is really cool

I understand a bit what people are saying about the second song not fitting, but i still think its pretty cool nonetheless! I think if you wanted to connect it to the other songs a bit more you could experiment with instrumentation and find some more through lines, or use melodies you use elsewhere to help remind you "hey!! same story here!!" but it still has a ton of character, and was enjoyable!

the third one was super playful and fun, the piano was really well done and reminded me of undertale haha, no complaints it was super cute and fun

Walking in the seagrass is a super pleasent listen, very relaxing and I could absolutely see this one in a game, and the melody in those strings feels really well placed, i like how you experiment with dissonance and pauses in this one especially, Maybe tone the reverb down on the lead violins though because it can muddle up the sound a little bit especially when its a sole focus like that, overall nice work tho!

I liked all of these tracks, there is a big difference in mood between them, especially 2 but I definitely feel like it follows on from the first track quite nicely, feels like the boss theme for the previous tracks area theme and I could hear all the tracks on the same soundtrack without feeling like any are out of place.

The first track especially I can hear the Yume Nikki influence in the first section which sounds great but then the drums, melody and bass you add in really take it to its own place too and sounds just as great, develops nicely as well.

I think the mixing is pretty good but could use some improvement in places, i.e. not sure about the kick and snare being panned hard left and right in the 2nd & 3rd track and I think to really sell the underwater theme you might want to use a heavier amount of delay and reverb to really create that wet underwater spacious feel. But It's still definitely acceptable and doesn't hurt the listening experience.

Oooh I LOVE the ambience! And then the almost jazzy improv happening in the back half of "Surface Relaxation." I'm a fan. The instrumentation and style for "In The Waves, Aggressive" stands out too much in the context of the other three tracks. If the other tracks are a soft blanket, "Aggressive" is like a sharp metallic edge. I think this is a case of "less is more." Aside from that, the other three tracks have a lot of cohesion.

i like the chill ocean vibe the music sells for the most part. The second song might not fit, but it does sound cool, especially as a sort of boss battle.

This was a pleasant submission to listen to. Composition and instrumentation were solid all around, although the second track didn't feel too cohesive with the rest of the submission, and didn't emanate oceanic vibes. Cohesion could use some work, but each track individually stands well on its own, and I enjoyed listening to each. Good job! :D
