Description
I used the Deluge which is a hardware synth/sequencer, played with the linnstrument and recorded all into the bluebox, then straight into submission.

Hi there!

Theme

Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
Bubbles remind me of waltz like music so that was the main connection i felt when working on the songs. The motif that runs throughout all the songs also reminds me of sensation of floating in the air.

I have to commend the effort. Playing every part even in orchestration or other productions can be hard. But playing everything live into an instrument is its own kind of challenge and that also nicely done. Really dig the groove you’ve used. Wasn’t expecting that out of a waltz, like you’ve mentioned in your description. I also liked how you’ve managed to reapply your main motive in different styles and sounds. Nicely done!

The videos to go with the music were super cool looking! Was that part of the hardware you used or is that a program you put your music into? I kinda want to use it.

Wow, I had never heard of the deluge before but it has a great warm sound. The textures here are a joy to listen to. I think you've received some good feedback regarding composition, so I'll just say that I really enjoyed this. Thanks for making and sharing!

the fact that you made this on hardware strikes me as so cool! i think the drums sound especially neat. keep it up :)

super interesting that you did this on hardware, I would have liked to see a bit more variation in using leitmotif but overall you used some very nice timbres

Good sound, Surface Scattered is a good intro to the whole vibe, I just which the other two to be more different, they sound good but they are just like a mini variation of the first one, its good that you kept the main motif but something to distinguish the other two would've been nice imo. Good job !

Great use of the motif throughout. Strong sense of Identity here. Though (if I may offer one critique) I would love to see the other ideas you have shine a bit more. They’re great, and I would love to hear them break out of the texture more! I think “Surface Scattered” does this very well. If the other tracks had a bit more of that it would make everything all the more memorable! Overall, great job, and a very fun listen!

So... First of all, I am struck by the technical part of your soundtrack...

beautiful work! Very vibe and... Old? Good vintage sound

Very cool that this was al "in-the-box" composed on a Deluge. I especially liked how  drums on Refracted were all over the place but still held down the waltz feel. I can hear the underwater/floating sensation well.  I would like to have seen more in the text of how this music how this music would connect to a game. I feel like what you have for the theme is more about capturing the vibe of that specific picture, although I think it does this well.

Great use of the motif between the songs. Also great overall quality of sound. Well done <3

Yoooooo as a guy who relies heavily on DAWs for electronic music,  I find it very interesting you did all this on hardware! Although you didn't write much lore, I agree that the songs invoke a floating sensation and honestly I can see them fit under a lot of game genres/scenarios. Reminds me of Neo Cab if it was an action game.

Super cool compositions: I found the kick pattern in Refracted especially interesting. It fills the space in a really unique way. Also love a good kick roll (Buoy) ;)
