I had fun playing this one and exploring the world so imagine how disappointed I was when I realized that my play through recording got messed up because the volume of the game is louder than my mic. :( Still, I wanted to share it and my commentary at the end can still be understood (minus my accents - lol)

Awesome Game! the cutscenes were very well done, I enjoyed the overall gameplay and style to the game! I thought it was really fun, really tough, thank you for the great experience and im impressed you did it all in construct! Nice job!
The art is amazing! I love the colors you chose. Music fits pretty well too
The flashing in the beginning wasn't very pleasant to look at
The keyboard keybinds weren't the best, and even with a gamepad they felt a little off to me. Would've preferred using a mouse to aim
But with those pushed aside, the game feels great and is juiced just right. Really well done!
Perhaps twin sticks then if you don't wanna use a mouse? Left stick to move, right to aim, wasd to move and arrow keys to aim? Something more accessible for the fire button like space or the trigger on a controller if you went with what i suggested? Or even shoot when you aim kinda like in Binding of Isaac if you've ever played that.
If you change them after tha jam then do let me know if you remember :) Would like to try again
love the game the art is amazing and the SFX are really good love the shooting aswell good job
Some of the most beautiful games I've ben able to play in this jam! I was immediately drawn in by the amazingly crafted cutscene. The map was also so wonderfully constructed, can't believe you worked on this solo! Great Job!
Great game with amazing graphics! I had a feeling when i go into the ship with 5 gems it would just end the game so i tried pretty hard to beat it without doing so, and i had a lot of fun exploring the map!
great game! the intro was awesome! it really put me in the story of the game, the art and music is cool and the controls took me time to master but got the hold of it, though I was pushed by the beetle like monster and got stuck, but overall it is an awesome game! keep up the great work!
All this by one person!? Wow! The style, animation, intro and music is quite something and inmediately put me into the mood. Maybe add some difficulty tunning on the boss, some hidden numbers that it know how difficult it needs to be. Well done!
Really nice game ! That intro cutscene was *chef kiss*
The lock on didn't seem to work tho, pressing CTRL didn't seem to do anything, I was using Keyboard B option, maybe that's why. Also it was kind of unclear when the sinking platforms were walkable or not. I had to stop at the Boss, cause fsr it would take any damage even tho it was flashing when shooting at it, maybe a side effect of the locking not working ?
The ambience was really cool, the Metroid influence was palpable and very welcomed, I'm kind of bummed that I could not beat the Boss cause I had fun.
Good entry !
This game is fantastic! Given that as a base, my only concerns are: the instructions could have been more clear (i didnt immediately know what key did what) and the dodge is hard to guestimate in terms of how far you actually go with that (its very hard to use for actual dodging imho)
But thats absolutely minor concerns compared to such a polished game!
Wow this was really good. To see cuts cenes and pretty well detailed pixel art has been a treat so far.
Enemies had some variety, animations were good, art style consistent, sound design was excellent. The visual and auditory feedback was very satisfying.
I can tell this a more experienced dev - for a one man team, they accomplished a lot. However, I ran into a game breaking bug - when I died during my run, the player death animation executed, but nothing happened after that and I was simply stuck with no way to continue or restart the game.
The art, especially in the cut scenes was amazing. The gun felt super satisfying to use and the game very fun to play. I felt like I was playing a top down Metroid game. Awesome work.
Nice Work! I really enjoyed this game. It kind of gave off the Metroid/Master Blaster vibe. I really had a lot of fun with this. I hope that you are going to be building on to this. I would really like to see where it goes from here. Nice Job!
Wow, these cutscenes are absolutely fantastic. I wouldn't in a million years expect that kind of quality from a jam game. This must have taken ages to draw and animate, especially with all the different creatures in your game! The gameplay is pretty fun. I liked running around and the super beefy gun is awesome. I managed to kill the worm boss but died soon after. It's a bit punishing to send you all the way back to the start after death. Not only that, but backtracking from the worm was a big pain as I'd already seen that area and nothing had really changed since I'd been through. Just had to fight off more waves of those bat creatures. Anywho, great job! I expect you'll be a top contender for graphics for sure!
Nice job! Best art I have seen in the jam so far. The intro cut scenes were amazing. Can't believe you were able to pull that off in the jam. Also love the color palette and the implementation of it within the game page was a very nice job. Really solid entry.
Beautiful game! I'm not sure if this was an option (along with using WASD), but it would be nice if the lock button wasn't control... caused a lot of weird stuff to happen in my browser.
