Really addicting gameplay! Not only can I imagine myself sinking hours into this game after a couple of updates, but I could very easily see this becoming a holo indie-published game too. The gameplay here works so well and feels really polished for what's currently available, plus the sound effects like the TF2 crits and the explosions cracked me up lmao

I was especially impressed to see what feels like all the talents in-game. In fact, the most difficult part was having to choose between my favorites (I felt so bad having to leave Sana and Kaela out of my team on my first run as I was gravitating towards this funky Gamers/Holotori/HoloX combo).

I did encounter a few issues while playing (I think the others have already reported most of these):

  • The right-click tooltips would stay on the screen after right-clicking a talent and it was finicky to have to right-click the character again to hide it, especially since other actions such as placing characters down or clicking outside wouldn't make the tooltip go away.
  • It felt weird trying to place characters down back on the unit bench as it felt like you had to click right above the spotc clicking on the spot itself didn't seem to work.

I'd definitely love to see more from this game in the future! :)

uuuuuuuu it's too spooky for me

On a serious note though, you've nailed that classic Slender-esque ambience really well that it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Plus, I don't think I can say I've ever played a game that actually made me jump and scream at the sight of Wide Fauna until now so you've really accomplished something here XD

Yummers :)

This game was super cute, the art and the sound effects were fun. I even loved the inclusion of an endless mode at the end for infinite yummers :)

Really fun gameplay! Really reminded me of those Tower Defense-styled flash games from back then so it made me a little nostalgic for that era :)

It's pretty simple to get into but the difficulty and the depth definitely ramps up by the later levels. By level the forth or fifth level, it got pretty crazy trying to manage between the different portals haha.

This was really well done!

This was a short and sweet little anomaly game. I especially loved the ambience and the hand-drawn art style :D

It was fun seeing each of the little references snuck into the anomalies I could find (like Mumei's painting on the board)

Well, my left arm hurts from mashing the Spacebar and the S key simultaneously lmao

I really enjoyed this game, especially seeing all the funny images! I think the most fun part was strategically clicking on the SSRB to explode multiple images at once. Plus, seeing the acrylic stands getting a table in the corner of the room with a gorilla standee made me laugh too.

Now if only I had OIIAOIIA.exe on my computer too, that spinning Raora still lives rent free in my head

Really enjoyed the theme on this one! I liked the different themed apps you could buy from Faunamart (still my favorite part about this game, and I still can't get over the fact that its a real website lmao) and how they each had their own strategic tradeoffs when using them, like the power of Nerfshark adjusting to its size on the screen.

It got pretty hectic and difficult above the zatsudan difficulty to the point that it really makes you think about how insane Kronii must have felt dealing with Cortana lmao

Thank you so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :D
I probably should've put in an indicator in the game and the description that you can hold left click onto the rock to automatically collect materials while the mouse is being held
Plus, there's also a funny glitch in this current build I left in that if you hold on the rock and then drag the cursor and camera off the rock, then it will just collect materials automatically even if you're not clicking with the mouse anymore :P
I hope I won't be responsible for giving any other future players carpal XD

This was a pretty cool and unique puzzle experience! I liked the ominous atmosphere and spritework.
It took me quite a while to figure out how this game worked and I think the main issues have been addressed by the others already (how it should show the specific prophecy first so you know which tech tree to aim for, the graph being a little difficult to read in-game, and how the game's a little hard to understand at first).
But it was pretty cool to figure out the game out by the end and it did take me quite a few tries. It was also kinda funny trying to aim for the one specific technology that I needed according to the prophecy, and seeing the silly humans completely aim for the other tech trees instead in the previous runs

Really solid baseline so far! I really like the visual style and the spritework!
Most bugs I encountered have already been pointed out by the others (such as the purchased upgrades not showing a description, the map sometimes highlighting map nodes that can't be accessed, and the cursor sometimes feeling inconsistent during combat) so I can't say much else there
But I can definitely see myself getting addicted to playing this if it gets expanded on >:D

Super cute! I really liked the Paper Mario-esque style and my favorite thing about this was reading all the dialogue from all the little takos :D
I can definitely see this getting expanded on with more mechanics and talents :)

Oooo, a Hololive-themed roguelite!
Even in the current soundless state, I felt myself getting a little addicted to the gameplay and to trying stack as much ability cooldown/attack speed buffs as possible (I even kept thinking of Risk of Rain 2 where I would do the exact same thing there too haha). I love that the variety of the stages too!
There's a really solid baseline here and it's left me wanting to see more Hololive-themed games with this kind of gameplay :)

Thank you so much for playing (and for hosting the jam too 😊)! I appreciate the new ideas and suggestions too!
Even though there's several of jank things about it right now, I'm happy with how the baseline turned out and I'm super excited to experiment with new ideas if I come back to it >:D

Thank you for playing! Glad you had fun with it! (and that you had fun with placing buildings around like that LMAO)
The building placement mechanics are definitely a little bugged at the moment (you can also build stuff in other areas you're not supposed to, like the grey cliffs and the rock itself if you move the camera enough), especially since it was slapped together after I spent a bit too much time trying to look through Unreal Engine tutorials haha

Probably my favorite game this jam! I really like the spy setup of Zeta trying to take down Kronii in a Casino (I'm a sucker for spy settings and this was so up my alley haha). Plus, I love the art style that combines the pixel sprites with a paper look, it's got a very unique look to it! I also liked how the gameplay was centered around using time travel to cheat the casino games without arousing too much suspicion (it was pretty fun being encouraged to savescum XD)

I did encounter a few odd bugs while playing. Some of them were already mentioned such as the final horse race's time saying "24:39", but there was one particular bug where it almost hit 12:00 and then the clock was stuck at 11:59. I think during that time, it also played the defeat theme but it sounded like it overlaid over each other a thousand times and it freaked me out hearing the music suddenly change and get really loud. Plus, I noticed the frame rate noticeably got hit when this happened too. I'm assuming it was supposed to show a defeat screen if you don't make it into Kronii's room on time?

Despite all the odd bugs, there's such an impressive amount of polish and production value here! I got so surprised when I started hearing singing in the background music too :O

Even though the game is incomplete at the moment, I really liked the setup of the story of Shiori reliving your memories with you. The writing (and all the jokes) did get a chuckle out of me consistently. I'm interested to see where you go with this story if you decide to continue with it :D

(plus I was crying when I found out that this is where that "KANO!!!!!!!!!" slime came from LMAO)

Cute art! And I really liked the story, especially the ending and the lines there :O
Overall a neat little visual novel :)

Really cool experience and interesting story! I really liked the puzzle-esque gameplay of trying to decipher the Eldritch language and it felt pretty rewarding to figure out some of the words myself.
My only complaint has already been addressed by a few other commenters, mainly the one where there's some dialogue with a lot of important information that can be skipped or missed without a way to read them again (I had to reload the save a few times). A suggestion is maybe something like a note is placed down with the translations once you receive the dialogue, or have it where the other characters will repeat themselves if you interact with them again?
But it's pretty exciting to know that this is just the first chapter now and that there's more to come >:)

One of my favorites from this jam! There's a lot of things I loved about this game that it's hard to pick which aspect of it was my favorite :D
I really loved the cute art style, all the references sprinkled throughout the trinkets and the customers, the different funny endings you get depending on which item you give to the other talents (my favorite ending is the one where you give a pickaxe to Pekora). But if I had to pick a favorite thing I liked from this game, I really liked the original themed outfits for each of the talents :o

An eating simulator definitely isn't something you see every day but this was a simple but sweet little game! (heh, sweet, like food)
It was fun trying to figure out the balance between the different foods and calories and the food budget for each day (even if after a while, I figured out a consistent combination of foods for each day lmao)

The art here is super cute and I really like the proof of concept that's being presented here :0
Tying all of the actions to single dice rolls is a pretty unique idea but the combat kind of flows slightly weird, especially if you keep hitting "Nothing" or the other non-attack options. Still, there's a lot of potential here and the biggest thing about this game for me is that it's left me wanting more already haha
If you do take this game even further, I'm super excited to see more of it!

I really liked the story I picked up :O
Seeing how the dialogue changes to reveal Shiori's role as an Archiver and reading the new descriptions of the talismans after the "reset" was really nice.
Hearing audio in the game really would've added a lot to the experience too but the gameboy-styled visuals and UI are cute.

Never touched Balatro before but I was able to pick up on this game pretty easily and when I did, I got really addicted to the gameplay loop to the point that I had to actively pull myself away when I started reaching the -4 streams point lmao
Even though the game is obviously in an unfinished state, there's still a really good working foundation here!
I especially really like how the different talents were adapted to fit the card suits (trying to plan for the different bonuses are pretty fun)

Simple but sweet :)
I enjoyed guessing and trying to figure out the specific item combinations and I could definitely see this kind of game being expanded on with more items and a hints system like suggested :0

Thank you for playing and for the suggestions!
And I figured the upgrades would've gotten a little bit broken haha
I did originally plan to have scaling upgrade prices (they would've multiplied by 1.69 each time you bought one) and movable buildings, but I couldn't figure out how to implement them on time (they're definitely both high priority features though if I do return to this game)
Glad you enjoyed it! :D

I really like the unique take on fishing here! The gravity/platformer-based fishing where you have to control the hook as it moves underwater makes it feel so different from other games with fishing mechanics :O
All the different Takos you craft are super cute too :)

Thank you so much for playing and for the suggestion!
It is an interesting suggestion to think about and to potentially experiment with.
(The thought of putting in some kind of Zenloss sounds really funny)

Thank you for playing and for the feedback!
The hotkeys and stats suggestions are perfect since I was already thinking of redesigning the UI afterwards to look more like a real-time strategy game (like Command & Conquer). And thank you for offering to help with the animations too! I will keep it in mind if I come back to this game
I would definitely love to keep working on this project even more after the jam >:)

Definitely short but it's a fun take on Plinko! "Polka-themed Plinko" has a ring to it too :)
I really wanted to play more levels since I was really getting into the gameplay by the end of the last level haha
(Also head's up there was a glitch I was encountering where if the game was on fullscreen and I started the next level, the cannon would not show up and it had me confused for a good second o_O)

Pretty relaxing little fishing game :O
I really like the music and I loved all the little themed Takodachis you collect (I especially liked reading each of their entry logs haha)
I did encounter a few bugs like the others mentioned (in my case, there was one time where the line itself despawned, and another where the Tako despawned like mentioned).

Thank you so much for checking out my game! Glad you liked the visuals too :D
And thank you for the feedback too, I was planning on adding a shaking effect to the rock each time it gets hit but I completely forgot about it by the time I submitted the game heh
I'd definitely love to add a lot more visual spice to the game if I work on it again!

Aw dang, I didn't realize that and I just realized even the description said the same thing too lmao
That's all on me for trying to brute force the other endings I was missing 😅

Enjoyed this little retro-styled experience :O
I like the setting of Space Ame getting lost on a different planet and it fit pretty well with the retro gameplay.
I agree too that having some music and being able to hold down to shoot would've been nice. I also think some hit indicators like the enemies flashing when you hit them for example would have helped with the feel of the gameplay too.

Fun little dungeon crawler :)
I loved reading all the little events that happen in between (especially the one when Bae damages herself while trying to climb crates to show off heh) and seeing Mettaton Nerissa at the end as the final boss threw me off guard lmao
I think some gameplay variety during combat definitely would've helped since I'm not sure if it's the intended way to play, but I found myself just clicking the "Attack" option repeatedly each time and occasionally clicking "Heal" (Maybe something like having each of the members have their own unique spells or abilities?)

(1 edit)

Super cute art :D
It also took me a bit to get how to play the game but I did not expect to get so into to the gameplay loop once I did and trying to figure out all the endings haha

(1 edit)

Thank you for playing! :D
Yeah their movement tends to get a little finicky when you have a lot of these guys present on the map (there's not much accounting for if there are any other Pemaloe present nearby). If I were to continue working on this game again, I'd definitely spend more time polishing up the movement/pathfinding of the little guys.
Glad you enjoyed it though :)

This game was fun! The motivation attack and the parry mechanics felt really fun to play with, and I really liked the gem-like sound design. Plus, I got a kick out of all the DMC/edge references haha (especially Vergil's lawn chair that Biboo is seen sitting on)

The only thing I can say though is that I felt so bad attacking the fuwamoco dog enemies 😭

Really enjoyed this retro style and feel of this game! It's fun to see the HoloJustice members already getting fangames this fast. Plus, the controls feel really good to play with and it was also fun to punch the boulders.

Cute little game :D
The art is super cute, and the dialogue from Kiara's chickens cracked me up haha.
