This was a short and sweet little anomaly game. I especially loved the ambience and the hand-drawn art style :D

It was fun seeing each of the little references snuck into the anomalies I could find (like Mumei's painting on the board)

This is nice! It reminds me of that streamer game from a while back (I think it was "I'm on Observation Duty"). To me it seems just as good too. The ambient music and the colorless office feel creepy, but the game isn't necessarily scary. It has halloween vibes somehow.

You *can* just go into the first doorway repeatedly by spamming w to try and get to a lower floor quickly, but that seems to backfire in the long run.
Nice job!

A very cool visual, I like how creepy it feels as you roam the office. Wish there is some sort of transition between floor other than just the numbers, took me a bit to realized that I was on a new floor. As for me, the anomaly becoming part of the normal does confuses me a bit, but aside from that, Cool game!

Great visuals and ambience. Short and fun to play through.
Gameplay wise, I do wish you've included a little more of your own spin to it rather than following the same anomaly formula. Even if its something small like having the player click on the anomaly to find it.
Also noticed some anomaly that stays and becomes a "normal" part of the room. Understand from your reply to Reykah below that this is a feature, but it does confuse me at times since not all anomaly consistently stays after you found them.
Regardless, this is a really cool entry. Thanks for making this!

Great game! I don't think I could find all the anomalies, but my favourite is a biboo anomaly haha

Nice ambience! Illustrations and animations are well done.

The twist on the "find the anomaly" game style is interesting, as things that are "wrong" will stay on the world and can get confusing after a couple of mistakes.

Replayed a couple of times to see if I could spot new anomalies and ended it with a "let's try to get every anomaly on the level" run. Wasn't disappointed. :)

Improvement suggestions:

- UI doesn't scale well if you go full screen on an ultrawide display.

- Minimal issue, but on ultrawide display you can see "outside" of the game on the sides.

- Have an anomaly counter, for the player to keep track of correctly identified anomalies.

- Add some kind of fade to black when moving between floors. Some anomalies were very easy to spot because of the obvious change on the screen when the floor was refreshed.

Pretty solid delivery on the concept. I wasn't aware of missed anomalies getting 'folded in' until I saw the other comments after playing, if later reversions are also considered anomalies that's real clever design.

Its a nice and simple anomaly game but there is some confusion between what is an anomaly and what is a corruption as the anomaly becomes the corruption.

The door could be better visually as well as there are many times where I reach the first floor but either go up or down the stairs instead of the exit because I didn't see the exit. I expected to exit via going up or down the stairs, which explains why I was heading for the stairs instead of expecting an actual exit.

The ambience is exceptional. There’s a unique atmosphere created by the juxtaposition of the eerie tone/setting with the holo elements that are, ultimately, cute. The music and color scheme and even the aspect ratio are all warning me to be careful, to stay on guard… and then it’s just a pebble sitting on a couch. Perfect building and releasing of tension.

Burning the missed anomalies into the baseline is a nice twist on the genre, plus it adds an extra way of playing (“poor girl”).

simple and nice, the corruption is subtle I wouldn't have notice it if you didn't mention it down here.

Nice little game! Though I did stumble upon a few bugs. Or rather its the same kind of bug which happened multiple times.

Sometimes after finding anomalies and taking one of the stairs, they dont go away and stay there until I restart the whole game. For me it was the pebble, bae and the door without the handle which stayed and didnt disappear until game reset. They also didn't count as an anomaly even though they stayed which made some stuff quite confusing for if there is an anomaly or not.

Otherwise I also like the greytones you used for this one! Gave this game the certain feel to it!

Thanks for the reply! Actually it is intended, the anomaly will remain if you proceed instead of turning back, which I use it as a form of corruption.

Really sorry for the confusion and lack of explanation in game.

Simple and to the point. It's a fun challenge, on top of being an interesting 2D adaptation of the Subway anomaly game. I like that you went with a greyscale, so you can look for the anomaly without colors being a hindrance (colourblind friendly, I suppose).

Also, (and idk if this is intentional) but bonus points for coding it so that you can't just spam going upstairs and have RNG roll all anomalies 8 times in a row. As far as I can tell, you can spam that up to the 5th floor, where it becomes a mandatory 'no anomalies', so that anyone spamming will always end up back at the 8th. Anyway, was able to legit beat the game. Thank you for making cute illustrations of 2 of the BEST girls.

Loved the music and the art! It was easy to understand, and challenging enough, very nice game!

Visuals and music go a long way in setting the tone, big ups
I wonder how many anomalies there are, I played through twice and wouldn't be surprised if there were some I hadn't seen
I think anomalies nearby the left staircase are perhaps too easy to spot when going upstairs
Love uncommon aspect ratios

Looks very beautiful and cute! Good luck to the author!

The aesthetic of this game is on point. The grayscale style does a lot to make it feel more like something's off and the art is really well done. Having the mascots be the corruption/anomalies is also a very nice touch.
