woaw, amazing implementation of the theme! I definitely could see this entry becoming a full blown game - it got the vibe to do so.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much carbonacat. Hearing that people think it could go on to become a full fledged game is very humbling and gratifying. Thank you for trying it out.

Game was such a vibe, I forgot how the cave mechanic worked tho!!!! Otherwise, I really liked the puzzles!!! Played at https://twitch.tv/hedge_in <3 vod Day 4 @ somewhere around 3:50:00???

Thank you for playing our game  The cave was a door and you were supposed to press f to open it I was the person who suggested that the door be reskinned as a cave so I guess this whole mess my fault.

Very well polished game. I loved the art and music. It's a shame that there isn't more levels. Great work!

Developer

Happy to hear that you wanted more levels. We were completing them down to the very last moment. Thank you for being so kind.

This game is fantastic! The concept and mechanics of aging and rejuvenating in tandem with the surrounding objects, which changes your abilities, are truly impressive. The art design is excellent, with clearly identifiable scalable objects that make the gameplay intuitive and enjoyable.

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much. Very happy to hear your feedback. You are too kind.

The style and atmosphere of this game are cool! I love the hints at worldbuilding that tie in with this time mechanic, would have loved to see more of that. And the art and music are really pretty :)

I wish there was more consistency in the look of objects that are young vs old. I was usually just guessing whether an object could be aged or made younger, and I often ended up just spamming both clicks to see what worked. Having a visual language that matched the player's aging as well would have been nice.

One or two of the levels have satisfying puzzles, the level design is better early on, but most of the levels are less interesting and easy to brute force your way through by just guessing what you should age or de-age. For a game jam like this, it would have been better to have fewer levels that were more thoughtfully designed, and required a bit more careful thought from the player.

We were really close to creating an indicator that would show the current age of the object - and how that age could be changed. But sadly, the time constraints got to us :(
It would 100% have improved the experience a lot

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your response. And those are precious feedbacks.

Really cool idea having the aging mechanic tie to changing everything around you. Reminds me of the board game "That Time You Killed Me". Would love to see this developed further. The platforming was a little wonky sometimes, but the puzzles were elegantly designed and interesting!

Developer

Thank you, I will have to look into the board game. I also think the puzzles were elegantly designed. We had a great design team. Thanks for leaving us your thoughts.

Interesting game!

Thank you pilatespolkadot. Glad you think so.

It took me some time to get hang of aging mechanic but other than that it was cool to use perspective of age as scaling. Art style was spot on love the color palette and sound design.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much. Appreciate you taking the time to play it.

Hello, composer from the game "Crescendo" here! Honestly, really wholesome game. I really liked the idea of scaling through different ages and found an emotional experience with the art and wholesome music. The game seemed to be pretty polished as well with lots of levels and great game design. I really enjoyed this game, and I hope you plan to do a post jam version with more levels, and maybe even an emotional story.

Developer(+2)

Thank you for trying it out. We're glad you enjoyed the art and music. The design team will also be happy to hear your kind words. We would like to upload a post-jam version with some little tweaks here and there. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts, we appreciate it.

Developer(+2)

thank you, your words mean a lot to the design team! it was a hard concept to work with but it's been a blast designing those levels

The mechanics of youth transfer is genius, I was thinking about something like that for a last year maybe, but never actually saw in games.
And it looks like we've been thinking in simular directions! I've been a bit shocked with some similarities to our game (you've even got 4 character forms too)

Developer

Just played your game and you're right, timescale and everything. Great minds think alike. Thank you for your kind words.

A very cool puzzle platformer, though I feel like some mechanics could've been explained a bit better, it's very visually enticing otherwise!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback. Happy to hear you enjoyed the visuals. We had a fantastic UI team and technical artist.

Impressive concept! The progression of difficulty may be a bit re-ranged, but it’s nevertheless a very cool puzzle platformer!

Developer
