I practically stayed just to read your ramblings and you know what I enjoyed it. The atmosphere on this one is really cool, and I love how the mechanics stay true to how satellites actually work. Pretty neat!
Thank you so much for your feedback! I'm really glad you enjoyed my ramblings, I was definitely worried that they were too first person.
The atmosphere you created in this game is awesome! I enjoyed how your personality reflected through the narrative and facts along side the gameplay, it was fun
Thanks for playing! I appreciate your kind words, sincerely.
I'm glad that said personality was not enough to ruin those wonderful satellite facts!
This is a cool game jam entry! I enjoyed reading about space and stuff while I dodged the asteroids and debris. I accidentally let my approach angle get to big at the last second and lost, but that's alright I still enjoyed playing thru this. Awesome job!
Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback!
The atmosphere and music are cool! There were some other mechanics missing during the game, but overall, pretty meditative)
I'm really glad you found some things to enjoy in there. Absolutely tons of room for improvement!
I liked the music, it gaves a lot of atmosphere, really nice
Thank you so much for that! My friend made all that music years ago and he hated it, can't wait to share this with him :)
Cool game! I found the concept to be quite interesting and enjoyed the dialogue. Nice work!
Much appreciated! I'm glad you fell more on the enjoyable side of the dialogue than the annoyed side :)
I wasn't expecting a space game with this theme. Cool approach!"
Thanks for giving it a shot! Really appreciate that.
Relaxing and genious ! A whole experience
Thank you so much for playing!
I was gonna comment on the text speed but just noticed you can control the satellite while it is going so it is not a problem, this makes me remember an old anime about collecting space debris and avoiding collision with satellites
You're gonna have to tell me what anime you're referring to.
an excellente anime btw,
Holy cow that looks beautiful. I love that old art style so much. The premise of that anime would be super fun as a game too! Alas, it seems to be unlicensed and not streaming on the big platforms. Heartbreaking. Might be time to bust out an old laptop and risk the more, ahem, cavalier streaming sites.
oh yeah pretty impossible to find, so perhaps you dont need to feel guilty about finding it in stremio or torrent websites, its a gem definitely and cant be let die
I found the interpretation of the theme to be just genius tbh
I learned a couple of interesting things in this game, almost a serious game this is
I really appreciate that, thank you so much!
Relaxing educational game! Nice spin on the theme.
Thanks for trying it out! Your game was fantastic!
Fascinating, had a good laugh at some of the text. It took me way too long to realize the trajectory is inverse of your rotation.
Thanks for playing! I'm glad I wasn't the only one who laughed at myself. I appreciate the feedback too. Intuiting the trajectory seems to have been an issue for a lot of players. Not great for a primary mechanic!
Very interesting narrative style game, never played anything like it. Good work :)
Thank you so much for trying it out!
Has nice atmosphere and concept, but unfortunately it didn't have any relevance to the theme of the jam :/
Thanks for trying it out! It's based on a real satellite named 'Aqua', so that seems like a pretty big failure of my narrative unfortunately.
Ah alright!
No worries, you thought outside of the box so well done ^^
Only advise I can give you, and it is a purely for Game Jams, since entries are normally mainly Judged/rated in the first 5-10 minutes of play, it is best to make the presentation clear on the get go.
100%. Very much a failure of the game to convey that information. I really appreciate that kind of feedback because it helps crystallize the areas I need to improve in!
Interesting game, thought I couldn't really understand how the satellite moves. Other than that, I like the originality and the nice atmopshere.
Thanks for playing my game! I really appreciate the feedback! Definitely need to work on making the relationship between turning and moving clearer, that seems like a very common issue people had.
It's relaxing, I can't connect it to the aqua theme, maybe the satellite was shooting with steam in the void :))) But it's nice and maybe it would be suitable for a Wallpaper Engine plugin, it would be fun!
Thanks for playing! I was trying to be clever because the satellite's name in real life is Aqua, and it collects information about water related things :)
Well i did lost because i was reading, and tought i was good until the end where somehow i couldn't find the right angle anymore.
Thanks for playing! You are definitely not alone experiencing that, the angle changes way too much the closer you get to the end, even if you had been doing a great job the whole rest of the game. Absolutely moving this higher up the priority fix list!
As I was playing I literally thought 'this is a really cool idea, but I wonder if it would be better if the player had a ____' and then hardmode answered my prayers.
Love the atmosphere both modes go for (and the music!) but enjoyed the faster pacing and extra features of hardmode. Also loved the extra feature of asteroids and debris interacting with each other. That was a really nice touch. One thing I noticed, the trajectory should maybe change to negatives when going one way off course and positives the other way to differentiate.
You made it! I don't know why I'm so concerned with spoilers, but I appreciate you keeping the secret of 'hard mode'. I definitely struggled with how the obstacle trajectories would change with the player. I think I settled on, "I hate this one the least." Taking into account whether or not the player is off-course is something I should definitely look into. Thanks for the feedback!
Was fun to play, would be great if there was a flashing warning when you are about to be off course. Up until game over I thought I was doing a good job lol.
Thanks for playing! That is definitely a big problem that I'll have to work on. Appreciate the feedback!
I failed because i was reading instead of steering and there's no way i do it again, apart from this the game is fun, original and polished, well done!
Thanks for playing! Definitely things I need to buff out for sure.
