Developer

Very cool game! The bugs were pretty annoying, but I could handle with it. Congrats!

Developer(+1)

Eep, thanks!!! We really appreciate that you kept going!! We have our patch on standby but unfortunately things are locked for another week, alas...

Submitted

Np! Common problem to have in a jam. Mine submission actually got some bugs and really simple things that it's simples to fix that I would love to publish the fixed version too

Developer(+1)

thank you for playing!! yeah, it can be tricky to iron out all of the bugs before the jam deadline, so thank you for sticking with it :) love your game and would love to play an updated version of it in the future! hope you'll keep an eye out for our updates too :D thanks again!

Submitted

We will!

We've been planning to publish the game since we won one of the prizes for the Playroom category. So keep updated with the game, I hope you will like it *^____^*

Incredible art! Games like this make me wish visuals were something I could rate because I'd like to give it 5 stars. The gameplay is also well designed

Developer

Heyyy thank you so much!!! We appreciate it nonetheless <3

Holy crap! There is no way you did all that art in only a week?! This game is beautiful! I love all the little animated touches to the background, and the story is so sad and lovely! 5 stars across the board. I beat all of what you have so far, but I would definitely play more of this if you made more content. The puzzles are well balanced. Great job!

My team had also made a game for this jam, but due to a submitting mistake weren't able to get it in to the jam officially. The game is called Hive Dive and I would really appreciate some feedback in the comments if you have the time. The art that I made doesn't hold a flame to this game, but I'm proud of it all the same.

Developer(+1)

i also cannot believe we did it in one week....p sure i spent more time on the art than my full time job T_T we're really glad you like all of our little touches! thanks so much for playing, we will definitely check Hive Dive out -- thank you for telling us about it!

Submitted

Like the concept of calculating your every move to get to the end! The narrative and visuals are awesome too!

Developer

Thank you! Our goal was to create a brain teaser type puzzle that would require players to plan strategically :D super glad you liked it!!

Submitted(+2)

Interesting puzzles and setting! Visuals and music really add to the chill but apocalyptic vibe. There are a couple of bugs but nothing that can't be played around. Overall, a pretty DAMn (ha) good experience!

Developer

Eep! Thank you so much! I'm glad the apocalyptic vibe came through -- for a while the art was feeling very fantasy and I wasn't sure we'd get the point across. Really glad you liked it!

Submitted(+1)

I'm far too impatient to try and beat it, but the art, puzzle-making, and music were phenomenal!

Developer

Heyyyy thank you so much! Yeah, the puzzles do get trickier as you go on...some of our playtesters got kind of pressed, so no shame! Thanks for playing!

Submitted

Great game! I think a grid might have helped a bit with some clarity, but the art assets were amazing!

Developer(+1)

Ooh, yeah we got that feedback from some of our playtesters -- we tried to do tiny little dots in the corner to emphasize a grid, but it was a tricky balance between showing a grid and keeping the aesthetic up. Thanks so much for playing!

Submitted

After completing first level nothing happened. On screenshots i see more levels. i want to try them. Please help? Graphics are great

Submitted

Developer explained. Thank you.

Developer

I'm glad our dev was able to walk you through some of our hacks around the bug -- hope you liked playing!

Submitted

Very nice game but the movement is very buggy making it difficult to play :(

Developer

Thank you!!! Sorry to hear about that -- what specifically was the movement issue (there are multiple..)?

Submitted(+1)

If you pressed more than one movement key at once or the same one twice in quick succession, the character would come off the game grid and start jittering. Trying to move again in this state causes more jittering and only has a very small chance for it to move again. Also rewinding when in this state reverts the energy and collectables correctly, but not the position of the character.

Submitted(+1)

the narrative and concept are lovely! It has simple movement, but it had me hooked.

Developer

thank you so much!!! we're really glad you liked it <3

Wow! Amazing idea and really cool pixel art!

Developer

Eep! Thank you so much PixelRobert! I'm glad you liked the art :3

Submitted(+1)

oh this is stunning art, feels a bit like sonic pinball toxic cave with the green sludge and all, but with very unique type of pixelart

Developer

Heyyyy thank you!! Haha yes we really wanted to make a swampish sludge level, but didn't have enough time. This was only my second time making pixel art so I'm glad it came across well!

Submitted(+2)

definitely very very good looking art

Submitted

A really fun idea, and visually beautiful game. A shame there are a lot of bugs in the movement.

Developer

Thanks so much for playing! Yeah, we'd really love to get to patch some of the movement bugs. Which specifically did you run into?

Submitted

The one where moving forward vibrated you in place and took energy - around the second pickup item. :)

Submitted

Really nice art & vibe to it! There are some issues with me getting stuck at times in random places and the character spasm's out a lot and some other little things, but overall great work!

Developer

Eep, thank you so much! That's a new one for me -- I think getting stuck might just be a symptom of playing too fast, which is a bug we're working on fixing. For now, restarting a level (with R) should always clear any issues, but we definitely hope to get some bug fixes after the jam period ends! Thank you for playing!
