Great work! Loved the art style! Is there a way to cancel out of a position after you set the ball down? Also lol to "Skill Issue"! Nice touch

How does your game represent "Power"?
Our team decided to start with the idea of "power-ups" and layered themes of power on different aspects of the game. Using elemental spirit power to imbue pyx with special effects, the player will have to control the power of their shots to knock out as many targets out of the ring in as little shots possible.

Music and visuals are tight, took a minute to get used to but pretty fun!
What a great executed vision for a game! The music and styling reminded me a lot of games I grew up playing like Zoombinis. Initially I thought you had to drag BEHIND the ball to gain power which was difficult since the board takes up so much space. Once I realized you could start your drag from anywhere it was all smooth sailing. Nice work!
Really nice visuals, especially love the look of the UI on the side.
Glad to see a submission that doesn't require me to download anything. Makes this game feel like a flash game from Newgrounds that I'd boot up in class instead of doing my English paper. While the play space is a bit small (especially vertically) and the marble ought to be placed and changed with a single click and hold, I really like the relaxed atmosphere of this game. The different rock powers are really fun to use too!
Really cozy game, loved the feeling like playing marbles in the backyard. Art presentation is visually great, and the music fits well. I think you did a couple really smart things with the mechanic design to make the game more engaging: First, giving a choice as to ball starting position made me stop and analyze for a sec before every shot-- some nice depth rather than auto shooting from last position. Second, putting the power meter behind your ball instead of in front of it. In some games like this, you lose some of the tension by knowing exactly where the shot will go, and you have a nice solution of still being clear, but removing it just one step.
All in all, a tight, satisfying experience, and no matter what the game says, it's not a skill issue, it's pyx's fault.
I had difficulties with launching the balls on the browser version, but other than that the game was fun and the graphics were great. Good entry!
Really fun game, the art looks amazing as well. Really liked the music and sound effects as well.
Good job!
Love this! The art, music and gameplay all feel very cohesive and well thought out. Wish I was able to use full power when pushing the pyx from all around the game board though!
Great game, art is on point. Selecting a power was a little unintuitive for me and I could not figure out how to use that mechanic my first few runs. It is a bummer that the game is so hampered by the close zoom, half the shots I want to take are not possible to power up.
Sound and art are great, and the actual game is really good, but the size of the window makes it a little difficult to play as is.
Really love the art! But unfortunately its hard to play when i can only shoot from the left or right side since there's no space for me to "pull" if i place the ball on the bottom or top of the screen because my mouse is out of the game window which is not registering. Might want to be mindful of this next time.
Well done btw!
