How does your game represent "Power"?
Because of the theme I wanted to make a racing game that is all about power and thus you don't need to get to the finish line as fast as possible but to gather as much speed (power) as possible before crossing the line.
Instead of racing against time the game rewards you based on how fast you are going (how much power you're exerting) at all times.

Pretty fun physics, the lighting and presentation is also really nice.
Ow wow that is a lot of speed! Love the lighting :)
Speed seems to have same problem our game has at high movement speeds - gets really difficult to pickup stuff while zooming past lol
Thank you for your game <3
Love seeing another dev making a unique racing game, love the idea of flipping the goal to be speed rather than time. The controls felt a tad clunky, but I did enjoy the speed effects, especially when I realized there's a boost button. Well done!
sick
so much potential for optimziation![](https://img.itch.zone/aW1nLzE5NzQwNzMwLnBuZw==/original/PHdsOL.png)
you gotta pump up those numbers
I like the concept a lot! I think the feel of the vehicle could be tweaked slightly but had fun playing and liked the music and vibe :)
I like really like the effects when speeding up. I think by far my favorite level was the last one since it allowed you to go really fast (1450!). I wish there more more levels like that one where you just feel powerful having difficulties to steer because of your sheer speed! The level select doesn't quite work for my screen tho, maybe the anchors aren't set right...
All and all great concept and nice execution for the limited time you had!
Neat concept! The idea of picking up powerups around a stage in order to maximize your vehicle kind of reminds me of the city mode in Kirby Air Ride. I liked this a lot. I would have really liked a drift mechanic or something to give me more control over the vehicle.
I love the subversion of expectations to make a speed game and not have it be time based. It's a really cool flip of an established genre!
I liked the originality of the idea and was having fun but my potato PC was struggle too much for the more intricate levels!
Very nice aesthetic.
Only wish the turning was less stiff as moving in the direction I wanted was quite difficult.
Keep it up!
Lighting is very good.
this is like f-zero on crack and id love to see this get turned into a full game!! great work!
nice little game, i love how you made what you could with the assets, pretty cute. Wish there were more levels
That's all the modeling i had time for lol 👀 and only got to 4 levels with that. Should have prioritized making levels definitely more.
Fun and quick game about going fast! Music was awesome
Really cool spin on trying to have the most speed for each level!!
Think I was a bit confused on one level where there seems to be a ring across a chasm and I kept trying to jump across xD
But then I found the goal behind me xD
You might enjoy our game as well! Trying to go as fast as possible is the focus of a few of our levels :)
Fun quick play. I'm a big fan of fast and this whole game is about fast.
Yo this is really cool! I was thinking of an F-Zero/Extreme-G type of game and this has those vibes! I like your speed twist too. Would love to see long drag races with multiple people trying to get top speed!
Music getting more intense as you gain speed is a really nice touch!
Really liked the interpretation of the theme and was surprised at how easy it was to pick up. great job!
Great visuals and the feel of the game!
I have mixed feelings about controls - I kinda like the smooth feeling of them, but it was sooo hard to collect more than one energy box without dropping speed. It would also be nice to have some benchmarks to compete against, though.
Nice submission, and kudos for Godot! :)
Yeah my biggest regret is not implementing a ranking system for the scores in time.
