Very cool. Reminds me of Risk of Rain 2 Artificer characters. Soundtrack was cool too.

Very cool took me a bit to beat, and I really appreciate that this game has "rocket jumping" definitely some speed run strats you can make with that, very cool mechanic. The platforms are a little too small and having to wait isn't much fun because it means enemies get to take free pot shots at you which feels unfair. There was also some jumps that felt like they required rocket/explosion jumping but nothing in the game said that was the case, along with some level geometry like the warehouse having some geometry that's easy to clip on (as in it stops movement unexpectedly). Definitely a purposeful design decision to have no health bar but I would add something to indicate besides the edges of the screen when you're near death as health isn't always as clear, like maybe the left arm having an indicator? Also there's no death/win animation they felt a little anticlimactic. All that aside great entry!

Thanks a lot for the feedback and im glad you enjoyed!

Loved it! Can't go wrong with rocket jumps! I found the movement a little slippery, but t did not change how much fun  I had!

Developer

thanks for playing!

Love the concept of this game! Great job!

Very fun! The artstyle is creative as hell and only gets a *little* eye melty. At times I think the level design should've encouraged more rocket jumping, but other than that, a ton of fun!

I liked the sound the enemies made when being hit, and found it to be really unique visually. The gameplay is pretty polished and I had a fun time trying to come up with "alternative" routes via ground & wall jumps. Overall, a really solid game!

love the music and art style! the variety of enemies is sick, and the gameplay is really polished as well!

Good music, amazing art/shaders, fun enemies that made me want to see more varients, and clean animations. You clearly did your playtesting. Very unique look and feel.

awesome game, very cool mechanics, felt like robot palpatine. I speedran story mode for fun. (frame rate drops at points but that doesnt stop my absolute skill).
Very nice shader, i used similar (or the same one) in my game! I love the explosion vfx, i think we watched the same tutorial ;) I'm a sucker for stylized graphics and simple models: and you got both! (the similarites between our games are insane)

HELL YEAH, if you made that shot while flying in the air with the platform that wouldve been so good, it was so close. Thanks for taking to the time to play and record that! I definitely gotta try your game as well. Oh and we've solved those frame drops just gotta wait to be able to upload again!

Neat style and addictive gameplay. The combat mechanics were really smooth. I also love the 3d-models, animations and effects. Fantastic job on the game!

Wow. I love the strong aesthetic style. Gameplay felt pretty freaking polished too. The art is so good, did you use your own assets or off the shelf ones? I'll say that while I enjoyed the posterize (or whatever) shader, it made it hard to see enemies sometimes. Maybe an outline on them would have helped? But damn. This is such an impressive job. Great work!

Thanks so much! All the assets, animations, models, music (besides a few royalty free sounds) were made by hand during the game jam! Thanks for the feedback!

Amazing. That's truly wild. I need to learn from you.

Couldn't have done it without my team

Really like the enemy variety and the animations. The sound effects are neat as well.

Super cool atmosphere! And so many enemy types wow!

Nice! This took a minute or two for me to understand what exactly I was trying to do, but once I got it, it was fun! Sound design was great, the shader/visual while cool looking sometimes made it hard to know what I was actually looking at, and sometimes the level design felt a bit too spaced out/empty space between things , but overall this was fun and well made! Great job!

SHUTTING DOWN

I loved the visuals used for this game and the movement of the player, i think that the variaty of the enemies was good and well polished

Very well made and fun as hell! Combat gave me huge "Serious Sam" vibes, kamikaze enemies always get my blood rushing. Music and aesthetics were great too, I immediately cranked both volume sliders to max so I could lock in and kill some bots. Hits the theme spot on as well. Great job! :)

Developer(+1)

LMAO I respect you for cranking the volume but that would deafen me. Glad you liked the game!

Really strong atmosphere and visuals.
