This is the kind of visual jank I love. Great feeling of power and speed with the sprint and grab and the way objects explode when you destroy them is incredibly satisfying!

How does your game represent "Power"?
The world of Power Anger is completely composed of power-scaled creatures and objects. It's kinda like Katamari games

Really smooth game - feels good to control - me smash! Punching, dashing, slingshotting, kicking - everything has impact. Maybe player movement speed could be a bit faster to keep up with the increasing pace of destruction.
Everything bursting into pieces is awesome! That, and nice footstep effects, really adds to the style and immersion of the game.
Had a lot of fun, thank you for making it!
Very good player feedback with use of SFX and particles.
Feels good to smash pretty much everything.
Enjoyed the quirky sprint as well.
Right now I'd love some more depth to the scoring,
Well done !
Live footage of the deforestation of the amazon. Loved beating up innocent little goblins. A little more variety in obstacles/props could've helped in the levels, but all around I enjoyed it!
A very charming and simple game. My only issues were with the controls as the grab mechanic was very unpredictable and the jumping is very floaty.
I'm sorry to hear controls gave you issues. There was a red indicator for grab but I can totally understand if that wasn't a very clear indicator. I probably could have done something better for that.
For the jump being floaty, that was very intentional lol. I wanted that to be more of a casual approach to the levels, so I tried to make it feel more like gliding. But you can use the other jump by jumping right after you start running, that one gives you a lot of forward momentum.
Anyways, good job with the S ranks and thanks for playing!
Funniest game I've played so far, the presentation on this is great xD Beyond just the visual style, I loved being surprised when I learned I could run, jump, grapple kick, and they were all implemented in a goofy way, wonderful!
Also including an options menu was huge, don't think I could make it through with inverted mouse movement, so was delighted when you included options! Great job!
Our game has a bit of a goofy vibe to it as well, you might enjoy it!
played the game, i loved how you can destroy almost any object in the game, so it makes it good when mashing, i really loved it
"It really makes you feel like Spiderman"
Loved this game! The world was very cute and the animations of everything from the characters to the player were spot on :)
I had a blast swinging around with the grab/sling mechanic and destroying things felt really satisfying. Power scaling occurred so discretely that I suddenly came to the realization of "wait, weren't those houses a lot larger just a second ago?" which was great.
If I were to give any feedback it would be that I did not like having the camera be so restricted in the up / down axis, I understand that there may well be a good reason for it but I would have like to be able to look further up and down.
An idea: I think it would be nice to have an auto-targeting system that automatically grabs the highest rated object within range and within a certain radius from the cursor, it would make for an ever smoother grabbing experience!
All in all I had a great time and really like this game, great work! Keep it up :D
"The real power was the friends I destroyed along the way"
I'm happy to hear that! For the camera restriction, it probably could have been less limiting now that I'm thinking about it. I was mainly trying to keep the camera in an angle where you would be able to see what you are grabbing. But yeah, a little more freedom wouldn't hurt I think.
That's a nice idea for the grab too! During development I didn't really think too much of it since the kick actually deals area damage, but some kind of targeting help could be a nice addition actually.
Thanks for playing and giving feedback!!
Pretty fun! I know a lot of people are mentioning Katamari but i immediately thought of Attack on Titan honestly, a much of a stretch as that may seem. Fighting big guys with two grapple hooks and a jetpack move thing like I saw a connection lol. But yeah growing stronger and stronger and flying around was pretty fun. I do feel like there could have been more visual indication of the various levels of power, like something to show how much more powerful you've gotten. Good work!
really nice game, the grab kick feels really good. I like the style a lot, a lot of the art is obviously pretty basic but it all works together really well. good job.
Incredible! it gives off the same sort of hectic fun high score chasing vibe that katamari has. I love the grab mechanic too, super fun
This is really good! The movement feels really nice and that running animation is just exquisite!
I think the game could have benefited from being a katamari damacy type open world destruction game that isn't level based but instead you continuously get stronger. Starting from the beginning every time was kind of lackluster. The combat and the movement was very fun though!
It's very satisfying to break everything and see the parts flying around. The visuals get a bit cluttered when breaking mountains though. It's a bit disapointing to start from low power levels every time, but I really like how the game introduces new skills to speed up the process. Overall a fun game, great job!
