Okay, I have only played three games so far but this one is my favorite. The clangs of blocking and the hit sounds (how did you make the hit sounds?) were so satisfying and I got into the flow of it midway through. Then the king scene at the end was somehow thrilling and had a finality to it thanks to the lead-up. I also loved the little bit of voice acting--it lent a real atmosphere at the start and end. What a great concept!

How does your game represent "Power"?
Play as a sword vying for power. Rise through the ranks. Pass yourself between swordbearers to increase your strength. Kill the king.

Excellent audio and visual work. The gameplay was also more fun than I was expecting, the flipping and trying to perceive depth gets very frantic near the end. Excellent shape rotation type game. I was disappointed at first when I died on (effectively) the final enemy, but continuing as the person you fought is clever and felt cool.
This is amazing! Your opponent taking your sword and soldiering on is a great way to balance out the difficulty of the later levels.
This deserves to win, this is absolutely fantastic. I'm also pretty happy that I almost got to the king without getting a new bearer. Really great game.
Really well done! I definitely would like to play through it again with controller support!
Man, this is the best game I've played so far. I beat it with about 4 deaths and trying not to die more was a really cool challenge. The only drawback is that I'm not sure if it fits the theme that well. I mean the only connection to "power" is the background story.
The mechanic is just amazing, I loved how my brain was reacting to the desired positions almost automatically while I'd played only for a couple of minutes at that point. Can't remember the last time I felt like I was learning a new game skill in such a fluent and engaging way. +The shake effect, the particle effect, the sounds and music made it feel really impactful. Definitely had a blast with the game.
Was a bit confused with how the number of health points changes after death. First you have 1, then 2, next about 7, feels like a strange progression but I didn't mind it.
5 All the way this is incredible!
The sound design and the vibes are my favorite part. Well done!
Best game jam game I've ever played. Satisfying, simple and immersive
Simple addictive gameplay, but the fills make the game great! Voice acting, sound design, effects, just top notch
